I have received several calls from this mysterious # on my office line and they hang up once I answer & identify my place of business

Frequently calls, never leaves a message. Sure it's some techno-robo call of some sort.

claims to be from Hilton Hotels wanted to talk about our stay 6 months ago and something about awards plan, first time they called was a poor connection. could hear noise in the background but they would not talk to me.  the next call. I told them I do not do surveys or answer personal questions and not to call us anymore.  Next day  my daughter answered and they were insisting on talking to me or her dad.  she told them sorry not available.  next day they called again. i told them they were told not to call us and to f. off they hung up on me and now the number is blocked.

Hitlton grand vacations club.  They probably have your number from your belonging to Hilton honors program or by staying at one of their hotels e.g. Hampton Inn.  They want to sell you a vacation or timeshare.
