This number just called me on my cell phone.  I don't know who it is or was.  They didn't leave a message.
I am on the do not call list but that seems to be a waste of time and doesn't seem to be working.

If any of you have had to verify a claim inquiry for a company associated with BCBS you may wish to contact your plan.  I believe that company has allowed your confidential medical information and contact information to be bought or stolen.

I have received several calls from someone in Florida saying that they are calling with information supplied by the state of Florida regarding a possible drug recall or medical procedure.  The only company that had my direct number was BCBS and the company they hired to investigate claims for possible third party liabilities.

Do your homework and if my story sounds familiar be sure that your information has been compromised in some way.

Indeed that is likely the case. I just recently got a policy through BCBS in January, and despite being on the Do Not Call list have been called by this number twice.

I received a call from this number at 12:01 pm CST today on my cell phone. I was still sleeping, but they didn't leave a message.

Had I actually seen/heard the call, I would have not answered it; recognizing the fact where the 407 area code is. I lost my job almost a year ago and worked for the airlines, so when I see an area code, unless it's a new one, I normally recognize it as belonging to particular airports.

Until Jan. of this year, I did have BCBS insurance.

I was curious, so I called the number back and it said the number was not in service. At first I thought it was because I first put *67 before the nmbr (for whatever good that does anymore), but then I got the same message NOT using *67.

I ignored the call.
And I never have had and currently do not have BCBS insurance so it makes no sense to me why I would be receiving a call about that.

Number has been identified as scam.  DO NOT answer and DO NOT return the call.

Just received a call also ;am not associated in any way with Blue Cross/Blue Shield. I consider my information compromised and changing all Internet site login/passwords (real pain). Don't use the same login/password for two sites (multiple pain). Block the number on your cell phone.

2nd time in two days i recieved a call from this number on my cell. I didnt answer and they did not leave a vm.  I blocked the #.

I received two calls from 407-932-xxxx over the past two days, and I have also verified claims through BCBS.  Each time I didn't answer.  Second time I called the number back, but it said the number was disconnected.  Yikes.

BCBS is forbidden by federal law (HIPPA) to give out any medical information to non-medical entities. The caller was probably just a scammer or phishing or got you phone number some other way.
