Sherry from the National Renewable Energy Center in Morgan Hill, CA is violating my privacy rights.
She is telling me PG&E allowed her to call me???!?!?!?!?!   I have not consented.  My rights are being violated.

I told her to leave me alone and stop the insanity!!!!!  Stop badgering me!!!!

11:00AM Sat morning - Caller ID says "Morgan Hill" We're on the Do Not Call list, yet nothing changes.  I've reported to the FCC too many times to count, but this type of call keeps coming.  

I was called and annoyed by this company a couple of times as well. My actions are:

This number is  badgering us by calling every week or so and when we answered, the first few times, there is no one there and they hang up.  I feel like calling them at 3AM, but not going to resort to their level (although all of their calls have been in the daytime).  I did a web search on National Renewable Energy Center  and got:  http://nationalrenewableenergycenter.com/sales/ .    Its an advertisement for telemarketers. and have a contact number:  1 – 877 – 593 – 2995.   In my opinion, they are giving solar energy a bad name. I hope that anyone reading this post does not engage this organization for any work. If they are this unprofessional-like in their calling tactics, makes me wonder about the work they do.   I sure wouldn't hire them.

Renee (male) from the National Renewable Energy Center (NREC) - 408-201-6134 in Morgan Hill, CA called me badgering me at 6:45 pm PST tonight telling me he is with the Utilities.  I told him to stop the madness and to leave me alone!! He was refusing to identify himself and kept telling me he was "authorized" to call me.  Since when is NREC or he allowed to call me??
I have been on the DO-NOT-CALL list since the inception.  What makes him think he is special???  

I wouldn't feed him dog food off my dog's plate for him or NREC.   Worthless!!!

Thanks for reporting this to us.  Yes, we have been aware of this situation for some time.  NREL is a research lab in Colorado, we don't sell anything, and we certainly do not telemarket solar energy systems.  We have previously contacted officials in CA state government.

keep getting  calls from 408-201-6134 despite saying I'm on a do not call list.

Getting calls all the time from this number and they do not say anything. It is very annoying. Our phone number is not listed and wondering how they even got our number. Are they trying to figure out if we are not home to break in?  So scary and annoying. I'm reporting them to the police. After so many complaints nothing is being done?! crazy

This company is a robocalling telemarketing call center working for A-1 Solar in Van Nuys, CA.  They have nothing to do with PGE other than the fact that they use the term "energy."  This is fraudulent representation. They buy your phone number from telephone list sellers. This robocaller harasses individual and businesses by calling 100,000 numbers each day in CA, using spoofed phone numbers. They have been calling my residence 6-8 times a day between 8a, and 9 pm for the last two months, despite my Do Not Call list status, and being told to stop calling, repeatedly.

Complain to the Los Angeles Better Business Bureau, (BBB), the Federal Communications Commission (FCC.gov, online or telephone), your local District Attorney, the CA State Department of Justice, the US Department of Justice, the California Contractor's Licensing Board (look up the contractor's license for A-1 Solar in Van Nuys, CA), and even try your local newspaper or TV consumer reporter, anybody who will listen. Also, consider legal action in the form of a restraining order and civil suit. Apparently businesses violating federal Do Not Call regulations can also be sued for damages: $1,500 per all/violation. Stop putting up with the harassment.
