Yes I get calls from this number. When I called it back a woman's voice message came on. Then they called again and when I called back it was busy.  So I went to reverse caller ID and the number is from King City, California even though it has a 408 area code.  Suspect it is a woman seeing my ex.

Have been getting hang-up calls from this number. 2 neighbors houses have been burglarized in the last few weeks, so I suspect they are checking to see if someone is home.

Just got a call from 408-385-2555 when I answered there was about 15 seconds of silence then a what sounded like a computer generated woman voice said "goodbye" then hung up.

I got a call, and the guy said they were General Home Design and gave us free estimate & 25% discount project.
I asked their business address, but he never gave me their address.
He said just Downtown San Jose.

You are lucky :=)  they only offer me 20% discount!!!
Normally I don't pick up unknown phone, but today I am just curious who may be calling me
from a local 408 number, and I pick up and they do identify themselves as www.GeneralHomeDesign.com
I wished though their caller ID should say so instead of robo# "Campbell CA" -- I will send their number
to my Omma's blacklist

I did. They even called me rude when i told me i wasn't interested and declined to hear more. Then they hanged up on me and called back twice in the next 5 minutes even though I told them I was working

I keep getting their calls several other days.
Got fussed up with it, so I blocked that number via my Panasonic Handset built in blocker.

Yes, calling as a design/construction business. Told them it was against the law to be cold-calling and they disconnected.

When I picked up they were gone. the caller id says out of area which means they have a fake number to pretend they are in San Jose area so people will pick up. I  don't pick up any number that say out of area  particulary with a  local prefix or area code. Just losers do this that can't do anything honest for a iiving or haven't figure out how to use their brains for any honest line of business.

4/23/14   4:50 pm.      I answered HELLO twice,,,,I could tell someone was there .............finally a womans voice came on and said "GOODBYE"..........I called this number back and a recording said I had reached the number and EXTENSION 219, however, the mailbox was full.     Very, very odd and kind of scarey sounding womans voice.

Same exact thing just happened.

I got a call from this number but no one was there. When I returned the call I received a prompt to leave a message and said that mail box is full.

Just received a call from this number - Caller ID said "Campbell CA".....
No one spoke - called back and went into voice mail box that was full.

would love to stop these calls

I continue to receive calls from this number.  I live in San Jose.  Now, when I see the caller i.d. and who is calling, I do not answer it.  This went on all weekend and again, this afternoon 4/28/14.     I have called the number back and all I get is a recording saying ext 219's mailbox is full.     How do I stop this????

The exact caller i.d. printout says:  Unknown Name  408 385 2555

Ditto, a few seconds ago, they are testing the lines to see if it's a valid number and calling back seeking business?

I had the exact same thing.  I answered, saying, "Hello?" then nothing, so I said it again, then more silence so I waited it out and heard a strange (computerized) female voice say "Goodbye."  Kind of freaky, like something out of a movie where now my house is going to blow up!
