Symantec was calling to follow up on an open "ticket" for Norton Internet Security support.  Their support sucked donkey balls (I fixed the problem myself) but I told them they could close the issue so at least I won't be bothered by their incompetence again.

Symantec support group out of India.  Not the best tech support.  Norton Internet Security support.

Get what you get on support, sometimes they help, sometimes they don't know what they're doing, sometimes they mess something up on your computer (remote access).  Once scheduled for a call back w/in 18 hours when online tech failed, called back once a couple days later and only let it ring twice before hanging up.  Guess they were hoping they wouldn't actually have to try to fix the problem..

They are worthless.  I wonder how they hire techs that are so incompetent.  Reading from a script does not fix a problem, they need knowledge which they are lacking.  I won't wast my time with them any more!!

called me at 02:15 on a monday and i didnt pick up as im sure u can appreciate

repeated calls from this number, feel like im being harassed. Same lady I can't understand. They really need to get english people that know how to speak. calls 5 to 6 times a day. asked to gain remote access to my computer. BEWARE OF THIS CALLER. block if you can. I don't have this option. :(

4085178000 followup to closed ticket for Norton/Symantec security problem. Help chat was routed to India, but followup call sounded Chinese -- couldn't understand a word he said except 'Norton'. Anyway, the "help" was a flop -- all 'Arun' could think of to do was reinstall Norton Premium on my PC remotely, didn't solve the problem (of course - he couldn't diagnose it, how could he fix it?).
