Doesn't say anything when I answer and doesn't answer when I call back.

the guy says he works with direct TV and is a rude SOB.

408 A/C is Southern California.  Caller did not leave v/m, and I'm sure as heck not gonna call back.

This has to be Direct TV cause I just switched from Dish Network.

Numerous calls from 408-793-3146.  Caller will not leave voice mail but calls morning, afternoon and evening hours before 8PM.  Calls 7 days a week.  From previous messages left here I am assuming its Direct Tv. We just switched from Dish Network to Direct Tv, so that's probably it.  Will record call. . just incase he wants to be rude, per messages here, so I can report it.

The number is from Advanced Communications an affiliate of DirecTV. I guess I was lucky. The young lady on the other end was very polite and cordial. She was following up on my installation.

Got to be from Direct TV.  We almost had it installed but changed our minds about it and kept Dish Network. I guess they want us to reconsider. They left no message. Just the number showed up three times on my phone.

I got 2 calls between 5:30 & 6:30 with no message. Then I tried to return the call & it disconnects after 1-2 rings every time you dial it back.
If Direct T.V. is behind this I will complain to them today. I'm on a do not call list with my cell phone & home phone.

I found this number is Smart Circle doing a survey for Direct TV Svc.

I complained to DirecTV and shared the fact that many others are annoyed by these repeated "no answer" calls. The agent empathized and explained that it would be 7-10 days before my being added to the "Do Not Call" list would take effect. What a nuisance!

Got calls from this number at 4:00 5:00 6:05 & 7:08.....No message..very annoying!

They continue to call at all hours of the day but no one answers at their end.  When I call back it rings and disconnects.

Have started receiving these calls on my direct line at work.  It really needs to stop.  I do not have nor have I ever had Direct TV.

They have called three times, each time handing up when I answer. When I try and call back it rings once, then goes silent.

I got a few calls from (408) 796-3146, I traced this number to Campbell, California. The person asked me if everything was working well with my recent Direct TV service? I called back immediately but line hangs up. I called Direct TV & asked them if they call from 408-796-3146 they said absolutely not. I'm thinking this is some kind of scam or trying to gather info. for a scam, who knows the call may be coming from outside the U.S.?

They call, I answer, they hang up.  So annoying!  I have Direct Tv, but will switch back to AT&T Uverse because of this.

No message and at call back get one ring and then disconnected.
