This is a scam, they claim to be partnof eBay...THEY ARE NOT!!!! Beware if you get an email or call claiming to be collecting or selling anything...they even have emails claiming to be companies with this number on it to call

Oh really! I have someone trying to sell me a car from eBay and I called this number

Someone tried to sell me a car through ebay Motors with this phone number.  Since I have bought through ebay before, I knew I could use PayPal.  Not with them...I knew it was a scam.

Was the car they were selling a Nissan Altima?

I saw a car for sale at Facebook.  The guy said his sister is selling a car and if interested email her.  I did and the lady named Daisy Brown said she is selling her Nissan Altima Year 2007 for $1500.  She placed it under eBay Protection Program. 2 days later I received an email from eBay With instructions that I need to buy 3 eBay cards at participating stores I.e. Rite Aid, 7-11 or CVS. I have bought one card on Sunday and that was the last wBay card. So I was about to buy another 2 cards at $500 each but for some reasons I thought of checking the phone number emailed to me.  No one was picking up.  Besides I noticed why this phone number starts with a 408.  Normally it should be a toll free number like 800 or 866 or 877.
So I google this number 408-844-4104 and I found it is a scam!   I almost lost $1500.  I still have my $500 eBay card and have not send it yet.

I followed my instinct.
