message left in my voicemail asking me to call back because i owe them money and they are going to call my work if i'll not return the call. before i have to report this calls to the police, what do i need to do?

called my job and told a coworker it was an emergency to find me for an investigation i got the number and called them told them to not call my job anymore

I got 2 calls and a voice mail from this number today at work.  Sounded like the same person, but each time he used a different name.  Said he was from the Dept of Law and Investigation and a law suit was being filed against me and I needed to speak to his supervisor.  He put me on hold and came back on and said his supervisor was busy could I hold for 5 minutes.  I asked him several times what this was about and never could get a straight answer.  Last time he called I told him I was going to call the FTC and he said they were working with the FTC.  I finally yelled at him and said I knew it was a scam and never to call here again.  So far, no more calls.

a guy claiming to be john anderson from the department of law calle dme sayin gthere was a lawsuit against me. he left 5 or 6 message within a few hours. i finally answered after googling the number and see what everyone else said about this scam and i cursed him out telling him i knew it was a scam and to stop calling me. HE NEVER CALLED BACK!

I have received calls from this number at my place of Employment on different several occassions.  They represent themselves as an Attorneys office.The name they give is Mike Johnson calling in reference to money I owe. Fraud written all over these people!!!! The address I was given for them is 327 S. Kubiper St., Allen, Tx., 75002

My girlfriend received a call of this nature at her office. The person told her there was a lawsuit and the police will be called. She panicked and gave her credit card for an outstanding bill she didn't realize she had. Then she found out it was identity theft. They took her credit card number and maxed it out. She caught it in time to place a hold on her bank accounts and anything linked to her social security number, address, or drivers license. The person calling uses a scare tactic to get your credit card number. IT'S A SCAM!

These people are scammers and rude and left messages saying "MOTHER F%&*$&^ answer the phone!' His name is David (Robins?) the strong accent from a foreigner with an american name??? Telling me to speak and answer the damn phone.  I let him keep talking and try to think I believe these filthy criminals trying to steal personal information from us!!! DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY OF YOUR INFORMATION!!!! The so called "COMPANY" Department of Law and Investigation! first of all the people from Law enforcement will NEVER call harrassing you with obscene language stating they have a file against you for owing money!

I just received a call from this mike johnson.  he is a forgeiner with an american name.  this is DEFINATELY  a fraud. DO NOT GIVE THIS MAN ANY INFORMATION!!!

Kept getting calls about 3 times/week from this number.  After reading comments on here, I finally called them back.  Same m.o.--they didn't give me a name, or if they did, I couldn't understand it.  Very thick accent, sounded Oriental to me.  Claimed to be from Law & Investigation division & put me through to his "supervisor" who sounded much like him.  They claimed to be attorneys & said there was paperwork from some company I'd never heard of planning to sue me.  I let him talk for awhile, then told him flat-out I knew the whole thing was a scam, told him he was no lawyer, and there was no company out to get me.  He became agitated & started yelling at me--not quite sure of the exact words since it wasn't English.  I told him I'd looked them up on this website & saw all the scams they're trying to pull & if they didn't quit calling & harrassing me, my next phone call would be to my attorney & the police.  He didn't like that much at all & continued to yell at me.  I just talked louder & asked him if he understood what I was saying.  I told him I knew he didn't speak English very well, but I hoped he understood it because my next move would be to sue HIM.  He didn't much care for that response, but I haven't heard from them since!  Don't cave in to these low-life pieces of crap that won't get real jobs.  Don't give them one iota of information about you--it's a pathetic scam that needs to be stopped!

I received a disturbing call from someone claiming to be frank anderson from a law offices of investigations saying I owe on a loan and if it was not paid I could serve time. He also said there was an apa david filed against me broad and other charges and it could be settled for 496 dollars but a payment of 350 add a payment of 146 would suffice. The gentleman sounded foreign in nature and I now have no idea if this is legit. I really do not want to serve jail time so can anyone help me?

Call your phone company and have the number blocked.its a phishing scam

My mom got a call from this number and called my hysterical.  They told her they were collecting for the federal government and that if she did not pay them she would be in jail by the next morning.  She told them she didn't understand what she owed.  He asked her if she had medical bills, etc.  She said yes, but, she is making payments on it.  He told her that is probably what it is then, but she needed to pay him in full now or they were going to have her put in jail and sue her.  The amount was 698.43.  They had ALL of her information, SS number, bank account number, etc.  The only thing they did not have correct was her employer.  The man who called was very hard to understand.  I called the number back and they answered Federal Investigation Unit.  I told her to contact the local police department to ask for direction as well as her bank to ensure no monies are withdrawn from her account.
