a guy named mike cooper, and several others using fake american names with a strong accent of another country call me at work, know my DOB and work email. say i am being charged with check fraud, bank fraud or something like that and theft by deception, they say their SR. attorney would like to speak to me. he gets on phone addresses himself as officer mike cooper. says he is a state investigation officer. says i have a law suit being filed against my credit report.

says the federal legislation of cash advance usa is charging me with owing them a loan.

also when i asked him if he had a date of this alleged occurance he said WELL you take care of yourself and hung up on me. they had the last 4 of my social. they had my first and last name, dob email at work and work phone #. i told them i could have given that to anybody and they asked for my attorneys fax # and said they could not fax me anything. i said wait, what if I want to represent myself, dont i get to know what is going on before i decide if i even need an attorney. they would not fax me anything.

I got a call from a guy with a very strong accent from this number saying he was Mark Smith from American Financial Law Dept but when I told him he was calling a state agency he hangs up.

Called my daughters phone sayng they were suing me . . . name was "sam taylor", obviously an indian man . . . I asked for proof, and he said he would provide it in court.  DONT' FALL FOR THESE JERKS!  They are preying on Americans.  When I was forceful, he hung up . . . and he wouldn't answer.  They are thieves!  Steal from your own people!

I have been trying to find out what can be done about this service contacting people.  I think the attorney general should get involved with this.  We have no idea where this information is being sent to or to whom.  They could be using names of American for terrioristic purposes and it needs to stop.  They are preying on innocent people and I'm afraid they will go after the ederly and received money from someone who does not know better.  I'm going to pursue this as far as I can to see that they guys are put out of business.

I have been getting the same calls. Someone left a voicemail saying there name was sam watson. then when i called them back i was speaking to sam taylor. He wanted me to pay money i owed and to send a letter saying i agree to pay this out of court and to make it to attn sam taylor. i called back and was like i js want to make sure i have the right name on my voicemail it said sam watson and you said sam taylor.. he said sam watson is his paralegal. yea right! I asked him if he could send me and email containing all the information for this loan, bank account number time and date of loan transfer etc. he said ok. i still have not received this information. I have been calling every hour trying to talk to him but they say he is not in yet and they dont know when he will be. How do they not have a set schedule? I said its urgent because someone obviously stole my identity and i need to go to the police asap to figure this out. And he told me that unfortunately if it is stolen identity i still have to pay. I said i have no problem with that and that i just want all the information that i can get so i can go to the police and get it figured out. Also skeptical is the fact that they are using a magic jack phone! What legitimate attorneys office use a magic jack! I am going to keep calling them until they tell me im off the hook or something, just to show i am persistent in figuring this "matter" out as they were to get ahold of me!

Just got off the phone with someone from their who said they couldn't email me information because my account was due dated or something like that. said that i haven't started the identity theft investigation so i still had to pay him. I said how can i start an investigation when you won't give me the information? he told me that the loan was deposited in jan 11 into my account which i didn't open until march! i said how was money deposited into that account which wasn't even open at that time? im not a psychic to know what numbers or anything like that to provide that info at that time. Told me he would look into it and call me back and i said its ok, i think im going to look into. he then hung up on me

Ok .. so I get the same number calling me on my cell phone and work phone.. leaves me a message around the same lines as the ones listed below... so I call the number back .. and I ask who it is .. Completely different name than what was left on my voice mail .. so I laugh at him and he hangs up ... So I even take early lunch because now Im pumped to call them again .. (God how lame am I) lol..
So I call again .. Yet again a different guy answers claiming to be a "Daniel" but wont give me his last name... He tell me I took out payday loan  so I asked him When .. he tells me .. I laugh and said nope never took out payday loan... so then he states he is getting his supervisor on line.. Wow... its actually "Steven Taylor" the one who left the message on my phone in the first place.. so I go through the same spill with him.. and he states he is going to prosecute me so I tell him my lawyer wants written paperwork... He then hangs up the phone.. Oh no no I am not finished yet... so I call his a$$ back .. and now he says his name is Steven Thompson.. I yet laugh again .. and ask him if he knows how to Google.. and tell him I googled his number and he should read what is being said about him .. (By the way Steve Thompson/Steven Taylor/ or whatever your name is .. Hi) ... so he hangs up on me again...
so when I call back the 4th time.. I ask who I am speaking to.. they tell me to stop calling that this is an IT dept and then called me a "Stupid F'in Beotch" and hung up...

I got a couple of calls from someone calling himself "sam taylor". He speaks with a thick indian accent, and was threatening me with a lawsuit and court appearance and arrest if I didn't pay back some loan he said I took out from cash advance(I think). He says he has proof that I received it and spent it, but when I asked him for dates or any information about this loan or the lawsuit he said I would receive all that paperwork from the police when they came to pick me up. He also said I would have to go to court on monday to stand in front of a judge and jury and explain my case. He wouldn't tell me what court, what time, or anything! He also wanted to know if I had any friends or relatives that I could borrow the money from. I called an attorney friend of mine, gave him the info and he is calling him to see what he can find out.
