Counterfeit cashiers check drawn on KeyBank.  Remitter is James Abrams.  Check was fedex from address 1133 Rt 55, Grangeville, NY 12540.  Internet scam stating they are Murphy Oil Corporation looking for hires for data entry.  IM address is hr_desk2001.   DO NOT cash these checks or deposit into your account.  Go to your local KeyBank and have the check verified.

They said they would reimburse thr first check that they sent out the ISG/Mi  group are all the same scams but its not with key bank they say the are from 331 main st, Poughkipsie,Ny

A person by the name Mrs. Patricia Evans posted a job on Craigslist for an Accounting clerk/Data Entry position.  The person is operating under the company name: CB AUSTRALIA, with Address: C/- MACPHERSON+ KELLEY LAWYERS LEVEL11, ROYAL EXCHANGE, 56 PITT STREET, SYDNEY, NSW 2000.  The prior name of this company was ADMEREX GROUP.  The IM address is patricia_evans1083@yahoo.com.  A TD Bank check was FedEx to me. The check was intended to be used for the purchase of a computer, softwares, and cabinets to work from home.

I also got an email from a Ms. Samantha Garrison from this "company". I've been researching about these scams. DON'T FALL FOR IT. Don't deposit the checks either. (I didn't even get that far in the process, but I'm grateful that other people have posted about their experiences)

I spotted and responded to an ad on Craigslist for an Account Payable Clerk at http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/acc/2865128948.html then I received this email with the phone number.  No call was received from them.

Accounts Payable Responsibilities:

(1)Research and prepare all vendor invoices for A/P process.
(2)Submit A/P batches to Assistant Controller for approval before running checks.
(3)Run A/P checks every Thursday. Mail checks by Friday morning
(4)Confirm UPS and FedEx freight out charges with sales invoices
(5)Daily process of wires and electronic debits through A/P system
(6)Daily process of manual checks in A/P.
(7)File A/P and canceled checks.

(10)Create and manage and file all AP files and statements

BASIC JOB DETAILS :
*The salary is $22/hr and you will be paid for 40hrs a week making it 8hrs a day.
*This is a full time job but you can work part time if you have a full job else where.
*I want you to be aware of the fact that we pay our staffs via checks because it is our preferred mode of payment.


Once i get your response to the interview questions, the company will be placing you on a 2 weeks training  program in which we will want to test your managerial abilities involving fund transaction , efficiency, strength, character and your test of trust when it comes to handling business projects for the company and you will be paid the sum of $1700 at the end of the 2 weeks training program before you are fully approved by the company. I will be waiting for your detailed response so that we can move on to the next phase.
