Unsolicited recorded message .. Something about goverment stimulus .. Some kind of loan company. If you call back the message says the number is not in service.

Picked up phone, did not speak, silence.  Probably a recorded message that is voice activated.

A recorded message about Obama Bucks available to refinance my mortgage.

Called the number RIGHT back after not picking up and got a recoding that the number is "not in service".

I answered the call finally after getting the messages day after day.

(1) A man of probably Indian decent was on the other line. When I asked where he was located, he said Baltimore (my area code)...what a coincidence!
(2) I asked the name of the company he said Financial Advisors... conveniently generic...
(3) I asked if he was from the FHA as the message stated, he said he was licenced to offer the products...didn't know that the government licenced products (what a great way to raise revenue!)...
(4) when I asked for a call back number he said it was a marketing office so they didn't have incoming numbers and once I had a loan officer I'd get a number. So I asked to speak with a loan officer...I was hung up on!

Guess they didn't really want my business. ;-)

Caller stated "due to the Obama stimulus," she offered to "lower the interest rate on my mortgage."  The company name was not provided.  Instead, if interested, I should "push 1" on the telephone for additional information.  This action presumably then provides justification for the call since I would have indicated interest in the offer.  Shabby way of doing unauthorized business for someone on the "Do not call" list.

Our phone keeps ringing all hours of the day and night. It rings twice then hangs up. We never even get to answer. It always says "Unavailable" & "Unknown Number". We had to check online with our phone company. It is beyong annoying. They never leave a message. Plus, we are listed on the Governments do not call list!
