Called me too.  Did not answer.  Then got busy signal when I called them back.

Calling but not leaving messages. SCAM for credit card rate. Line always busy if you return the call.

No message, busy signal when I called back.
This all makes sense if it's an automated telemarketing angle.

Clear scam, unnammed credit card company offering to lower my interest rate.

I just received a call from this number with Basset Home Furniture as the caller.  It turned out to be a CC interest rate call.  I can't tell if it is a scam but I would recommend being wary of this call.  If you want to combine cards for a lower interest rate, do it yourself.

Called my fax number (Vonage VOIP). Caller ID just shows the number.

This is a SCAM! They wanted to "confirm" my credit card number and my bank account to lower my interest rate.  I refused and she got very heated with me saying that she could find that information anywhere on the internet if she wanted to but because they aren't asking my social or routing number they can't access my accounts. I refused and offered the last 4 digits only, she wouldn't take those so I hung up. She called back 3 times asking what happened and how did we get disconnected. I called my credit card company and changed the account just in case.

I just got a call phone this number 410-686-4614. I said I did not know english
He wanted my SS number. What is that. he wanted my visa number. I do not have one
I said I just moved here from South America.
He hung up the phone

Call id claims Bassett Home Furnishing in Essex Maryland. Did not pick up. No message left. No reason for them to be calling me. Probably a scam.
