The name of the caller was "Verizon" on my CID.

No message.

Calls regularly, does not leave message, but shows up on the CID as "Verizon." Also hangs up when I answer. I returned the call, it gives options to speak to a representative, and to learn about the Do Not Call Registry. When choosing the option to speak to a representative, they ask for a phone number, which I gave because they already have it. Woman asked for my name which I refused to give, instead asking her for what reason Verizon was contacting me without leaving messages, as well as why they would do so when there is actually a credit on my account. She again asked for my name, I again refused, asking her to explain why I was receiving the calls. She made a poor attempt to explain the concept of an auto-dialer to me, not actually answering my questions, and becoming noticeably frustrated with my refusal to share my name.

To check, I called Verizon Customer Service (1-800-VERIZON), and they confirmed that they are not affiliated with that number, even going so far as to confirm that they could not verify a location for the phone number.

I get calls from this number at least 3 times per week. I screen my calls and if I don't know the caller or they don't leave a message I don't answer. No one ever talks so I don't answer. If it really is Verizon they should leave a message. I just made complaint to "Do not call registry" see if they can do something. Hope they get fined.

They wanted to know if Verizon can make a better plan than what I have.

Verizon or someone reselling Verizon services. Was able to identify services I had on my line, but not verify the existing charge. Seemed surprised that the package they were offering was actually more expensive than my whole phone bill per month. We had previously received calls in this range: 4109100617 - 4109100622 so I'm just black-listing all those numbers.

same problem as noted prior.  get calls at least 3 times a week from this number - it is a nuisance.
