Recorded message spelling out my name (incorrectly) and insisting that I call 410-9462274 to receive $10 M. and a c-class Mercedes Benz.

called my cell phone Said I won 10 million dollars

called my home phone using a recorded message along with my name in april 2012 and said i had already won $10 million and a class m mercedes from greendot moneypak, and then instructed me to go to the store and purchase a $500.00 (+$4.95 to cover tax) green money-pak card at walgreens or another participating retailer, then call them back at 410-win-cash, and they will send a delivery driver to my home to collect the card (to cover the paperwork on my winnings).  the person said they were located in las vegas, nevada.  he hung up on me when i started to ask too many questions and 'punch holes' in his story.  these rip-off artists are now using more-or-less convincing scripts and pre-recorded messages to sound legitimate; however, everyone should be aware that a legit sweepstakes company will NEVER ask you to pay money first in order to win money, especially a $500.00 prepaid same-as-cash card that goes to them first.

Got a prerecorded call from 410-946-2274 (410-Win-Cash) saying I won 10 million dollars and a Mercedes!    Googled it and found the posts here...

Friend fell for this sweepstakes fraud and lost $500.00 cash within minutes of giving the greendot money pak card # to these people.  He talked personally with at least four different people from this supposed company.  Numbers and names associated with this scam:  Caller # (410) 946 2274,  #(213) 359 4943,  #(702) 722 9187,  (Hank McCoy, Mike Bison) email address used in this scam: moneypakusa@gmail.com

Called me this morning 6:20 leaving a very annoying prerecorded message. WTF!!!  And I'm not even the intended winner whom they are trying to reach.  Crazy, freaking, annoying Scammers... so sick of these phone calls.  Called yesterday three times!!! Now today starting calling 6:20 AM!!!! I've been getting these calls from this company since the beginning of the week. Wish they would just stop!!!  Message basically said intended winner and they spell out the wrong name you have won 10 million and a Mercedes... Blah Blah Blah. And it's loud!!! And my number has been on the do not call list for years.  But some how these Scammers are still able to keep annoying us.  I never pick up and let everything go to voice mail!!! Please stop calling!!!

I have gotten this call three times.

Has been calling past 2 days starting at 6:20 AM, with 2 more calls during the day, saying I must call back and present ID for delivery of my ten million dollars and mercedes.  Thanks for posting what the scam is, as what is described on this page is exactly what I have experienced in June 2012, so they are still going.  You have saved me from making the call back.

they called me july 9.  I called back and acted like an old man, they wanted 500 then they said they would take whatever i could afford. I told them i hope they burn forever.

I keep getting the same calls and i reported it to the green dot company and i plan to report it to the police department this week.

Rec'd same type call on answering machine from organization claiming to be with green dot money pak company saying I had won $10 Million and a Mercedes.

It's a wonder to win something that one has not entered or had any knowledge of.

Started receiving calls this week, several times a day from 702-749-4375; instructing us to call 410-976-2274 to claim our prize.  I agree with the others, they are extremely loud and annoying.  When you don't respond they start leaving a new message saying the opporutnity to claim your prize will be expiring soon and they will give your $10 million dollars and Mercedes to someone else.  LIke others we had never entered a contest nor do we use Green Dot Money Pak Cards.

We've received SIX calls now, from both the 410 & 702 numbers.  I don't know how long they continue w/out getting a callback, but I hope they stop soon.  The calls are really obnoxious.

Green Dot, a somewhat legitimate company that makes its money by supplying debit cards for high fees to people who have made ChexSystems Honor Roll & are unable to open a bank acct, has said it is working with VI & MC and the Feds to put these guys out of business. Still, these scammers' CC processor is clearing charges made to the Red Dot card, so one has to wonder just how closely they're working with anyone.  I mean...recurring cash advances of $500?  Even if they're made to different merch. Acct #'s, c'mon... I smell a yummy class action in the making against Red Dot...

My Mom just got the same phone call and got her hope's up not cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
People like this should be put away for a long time. They called her and I got a hold of them and YELLED at them for doing this to people
