Scott called from "Service GSA" not a part of the Federal Government, a private company, asking about Interior Design Services. Stating they are a qualifier to see if companies are a good match for GSA Federal Gov. contracts. When asked if this is a "pay-to-play" situation it was stated that "Yes, there is a one time investment."

I received a call from Scott wanting to talk to the owner of our co. about a 5 year GSA contract. I asked for his last name, he gave it. I asked for the organization name: Service GSA.

I asked for his email address in case we couldn't reach him by phone, he wouldn't tell me as he said, "I don't give out my personal email."

I said, "Oh, you don't have a business email address?"

"No, I don't have a computer at my desk. I'm just sitting here with a phone."

Our policy is we don't deal with people who don't have service email accounts. It sounded fishy to me, but I can't say if it was a scam or not.
