Yeah same here (412) 723 5127.  I don't recall the the exact digits but the recording did ask me to call back an 1-800 number.

Same as Sandy and JC. They left a recorded message for me to call back the 18775168457, even though it registered the 4127235127. Didn't call back.

I missed the call yesterday afternoon so they left a computer generated voicemail as follows:

Hello, this is Aetna calling for <My name>. We want to make sure you are getting the most out of your membership. Please call us back, toll free, at 18775168457. Again, the number is 18775168457. Thank you and have a good day, goodbye.

I just got the same recording

they're doing this because it's benefits election time and they want you to keep them so they're putting their best foot forward, so to speak...

yes same here.  it seems like they want to sell you something its from your health insurance carrier.  Aetna

this is Aetna health insurance (which i have through work) wanting to make sure I am getting the most from my benefiits

I just received the same recorded message, but the woman sounded like she thought she was talking to either a SEVERELY mentally/emotionally & physically challenged two year old, or someone who did not speak a word of English . . . yet she had no problem with my VERY anglo surname!

And after that, I would not call them if they paid me!!!  Not to mention, if they have half a clue, they can see that my employer's health insurance does not renew until the first of April next year . . . sure hope they don't bombard me with these calls til then!

Got a call from Aetna w/ this # automated msg system asked to speak with me but didn't register when I said yes and hung up.  I called back the # and reached some poor woman who says she's had 3 calls today from ppl who say Aetna left them a message and they hit call back rather than the # in the message.  I called the # posted here and it was Aetna and recognized the # I called from.

Kaiser Permanente with an important message for me :) They provide a different number in the automated message to call them back at.

It was telemarketer calling for Blue Shield of California with a message about special programs.

Just received a call identifying the call as coming from Empire Blue Cross/Blue Shield.  I have not been ensured with them since April 2011 but they asked for me by name and I hung up.  Greatful for this site which allowed me to see that in 2010, they identified themselves as Aetna.

i got a message from this number, it says something about HUMANA benefits, bla-bla-bla.  considering all of the above responses sounds very shady.

Got a recording which says it's from Blue Cross. (The Caller ID says it's Anthem BCLH.) It says it has important membership information. But to verify my identity, it asked me to say "yes" (or "no") to my (recorded) name, then to further "protect my privacy", it wanted me to enter my birthday. I was already very suspicious of the call, so when it asked me volunteer personal info, I knew for sure it's some kind of phishing scam.

My caller id says Empire BC and they said they were calling about my Empire BC/BS health insurance which I no longer have.

it is Insurance and that's because today (Oct. 1, 2011) is the first day of open enrollment for medicare plans, it's open season and they're gonna drive you nuts for 30 days, until enrollment is over & then it will be back to ignoring you while over billing and underpaying

This # called 3 times yesterday and I returned the call on my caller ID. A man took over the phone call and was very nasty. Telling me to stop calling there using profanity. He couldn't understand I was just returning a call. We have been harassed by these people for calling them back for 2 days now. After having the phone company block the #, they are not using the last 3 digits to mask the call origin when calling to ask why I keep calling them and to stop (profanity) calling me. Today a woman called saying "tell your wife to stop calling here." I'm not calling them - they called me.
