These calls need to stop!!

He said he is from microsoft corp. and asked me if i am the owner of the computer. I hunged up.

Got a call this am and asked me if I was the owner of my computer. I hung up.
Figured it was a scam

Could tell this was a scam as soon as he claimed to be from microsoft. Told me to go [***] myself when I started putting the questions on him.

I keep getting calls about "microsoft" and a lady with a heavy Indian accent asking if I am aware that my computer is downloading malware.  Tonight she called at 11:46 p.m. my time which is not legal.  When I told her that (in a not so friendly manner), she promptly hung up.  I'm already on the do not call list...these calls are annoying.  Especially when it's waking me up and it's almost midnight.

Said his name was Ryan and he was calling from Microsoft ... says my computer was sending out my personal information ... when I raised my voice to him he threatened to f*** me.  I was not amused.
The number is listed with Verizon.  I will be calling them next.

This number has called twice before, but I knew it was a scam, so I always hung up. They called again, this time at 11:00 p.m. That was the last straw. I told them in no uncertain terms to never call me again. Absolutely absurd.

I just received a call from a Nancy Raffetto at 412-937-0894, originating from Greentree, Pennsylvania, from a man with a thick accent advising he is with Microsoft 360 and the main server is receiving notices that my computer has been compromised.  I asked what the name of the main server was, to which he responded GSR, the global server, and I advised I didn't think it was my server, but, "thank you."  He stated, "What [***] is this?" and hung up on me.

It is apparently phishing for solicitation for access to my computer.

Multiple calls from Nancy Raffetto, Pittsburgh PA, obviously spoofed... Male caller, with a thick indian accent, connection was distorted, digital wobble, like cheap VOIP, he seemed minimally fluent in english. Informed me that my windows computer was broadcasting viruses (I'm running linux), wanting to have some fun I acted stupid, and concerned, trying to see where this would go, perhaps get a url I could report, but the jerk hangs up every time without a word.

Received a call today stating on caller id Nancy Raffetto.  It was a woman with India accent stating that she was from Microsoft and that my computer was sending information back to them indicating that it was downloading viruses.  I told her I know this is a farce.  She said "No, I assure you it isn't" I said fine then email me the information to my registered microsoft email that you have on file and I will review it.  She said I can give you your computer id # and tell you what to do to verify the information.  I said NO I will not, email me the info and I will address it.  She persisted and I hung up!

I just got a call from this number and when I asked him if he had all my personal info then why would I need to tell him i'm the owner of my computer and that i'm on the do not call list he hung up on me.  I tried calling back a few times and it just rings then goes dead.

I work Graveyard at an answering service and I just received this message. A week ago a coworker got the same kind of call so I knew about it. He said that my computer was sending him viruses and that he is in the control room of some global server thing. He told me to press the windows key and "R". I told him that I wouldn't because I knew he was a scam and that I wasn't an idiot and he said but you are and I hung up on him. I tried calling the number back and I got a busy signal.

I work for an answering service and we have received a call from this number twice. Each time a man with a heavy thick Indian accent is telling us that our computers here are sending him viruses and he claims to work for a major global server company. He then tells us to press a combination of keys on our keyboards. The combination he tells us is the windows key and the letter R. This brings up the run program in which he could give us a specific file name and hack into our computers which holds confidential documents and programs. I wanted to report this because he could be doing this to anyone and I believe that this is for identity theft purposes. I also believe that the number which is registered to a Nancy Raffetto is a cloned number because when you call it back you get a busy signal.
