This is a phone scam trying to collect unpaid federal taxes. They seem to have a south asian accent and will try to harass you.

I received the same call and they literrally scared me...for unpaid federal taxes...found out they are a scam...

This guys are calling from India and it is a Fraud. I am Indian and got the accent, I called them back and started with who is calling and gave them earful in Indian (Gujarati) language. The person said holdon and transferred me to their boss who without even asking anything started to abuse me in Indian (Guajarati) language. Please do not pay them, report this number to 800-257-2969.

Yes I think they have an Indian accent.  They called our house giving us horrible news and we believed it, we reported them to the FBI and the Police.  They said they cannot track them.  It is some loser guy who does prank calls.  I called and gave him a taste of his own medicine today, and he was cursing me out the whole time.  Calling me bi*** and you want my d**k???  So since they gave us such a hard time I suggest you call them on a private number and give them a taste of their own medicine.  When I called, over and over again today, it was an Indian guy, he'd hang up as soon as I said same stuff he had told us.

Please if you have the time, which I am glad I did today, call them back, with a *67 and keep hanging up or cursing them out, or giving them false bad news.  They need to get a taste of their own medicine several times a day, otherwise they keep getting away with this stuff!  Please do something, I don't want to be the only one, he is truly evil!

He actually said he is Detective Jay and gave us some scary fake news.  He will say he is from State Department or collecting taxes, and I am sure he has fooled some people that he keeps calling.  Oh how I wish I had the time to track down this loser.  But anyways you can give him a taste of his own medicine by continuously calling him using *67 so he doesn't get your number, and harass him, only way he will get a headache he causes for so many people.

Chief Investigation officer Mr. Alan Garcia asking me to pay my unpaid 2011 State tax or prepared to get arrested in a hour.  I got a refund on 2011 tax return. He was a really pushing me towards paying now or federal government will rework my US Citizenship and send my wife back to India. For a moment, he scared me but when I told him that I got a refund in 2011 & how come I owe tax? He wrapped up the conversation instantly and hung up the phone.

I am Indian  & Gujarati. I love to talk with Indian and specially Gujarati.Guy who called me was a Spanish speaking Mr, Allan Garcia. I am forwarding this number to my friends and let them have a fun f'''' with him too.

My parents received a call from this number and after the caller harassed them with threats for about 30 minutes, they got scared and transferred the call to me.  So much [***].  He refused to let me talk to his senior officer which he initially mentioned, refused me tell me from when the taxes were owed, then he refused to fax or email me the alleged notice of taxes owed and started getting abusive telling me that it's not India and things work here differently.  When I asked him for the address where the notices were sent, it wasn't correct.  How can the federal government make a mistake with our address?  I guess he figured out that I am not an idiot and hang up on me.

I'd like to figure out where to make a proper complaint about this.  If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

Called and left several messages claiming he was from Crime Investigation department and there was a legal affidavit against my name and my identity !?? whatever that means.  Initially there was a woman calling herself Officer Stacey Smith and then this guy who claimed to be Officer John Cruise. They left 6 or 7 messages.  Finally I was home today and answered  I told them them to send me a letter explaining what the charges were. He was pretty intimidating and ended the call saying that he is sending the police to arrest me in 30 minutes!!  The woman's accent was very Indian and there were a couple of guys I think.
Initial calls were around February and continued till today.

Same [***] called and left a scary message.  Said I would be arrested.  This guy is Indian and leaves messages under fake American names.  This is harassment and this guy should be immediately arrested.

Got the same call last night. Thanks to all of you I did not absoutely freak out.
I am reporting him to our local police and the 800 number someone listed above.

This guy is becoming very brave. After Informing me that there are 3 case pending against me ,I want to settle otherwise cops are coming to arrest me today, I refused then he even conference with my local police department . He must have hang up after this. Something must be done .this guy must be put behind the bars.

Yup - got the same call and message from some Jay Williams. I bet this has a better success rate than sending email scams. These bas***** must be calling from India and through vonage or Magicjack type of stuff - hence might not be able to track. Are there any non Indians these guys are targeting? Seems like mosly Indians living in US are being targeted.

I said do it and he hanged on me. I dialeed number again to see who are all these people and ht same guy pickedup and said Crime Investigation department. I said I am calling from FBI then he start yelling at some local language may be Gujarathi or Pakistani...

It is a pure prank call and don't believe  this. Just hang the phone. No criminal investigation will call you like this w/o any advance notice.

This moron is using magic Jack and calling  Asia Indian community stating he represents a law firm and is an officer of the law and investigating for FBI. He speaks fluent Indian and also calls himself Brad

Report the number to your local Police station  and also block his number if you can through your Telephone company

any call from this number is a scam, ignore it or report to your local police and try blocking this number  ,this guy calls himself officer john right,

This is a fraud. Person has Indian accent. He calls himself as officer Right and tells me that an arrest
Warrenty has been issued in my name and he is calling from Federal Bureau of Investigation. He wanted tmy details.
