Recieved call they just hung up.

Numerous calls from this number. Various times during day & evening. Windy noise, but no message.

When picked up had to say 'Hello' a couple times before getting a response. A male voice asked for me by first name. I asked who's calling and he said his name was Brian Harris or Brian Paris. He insisted he knew me. I didn't know who he was, so I hung up.

I got another call from this number. Did not pick it when I saw the caller id.  When I check my messages, there was a "windy" noise as a message for that number. Checked this number out and it is a land line in South Milwaukee.

I received a call from this number, too.  It was the same thing...windy sound,no message...like someone driving with the window open.  Really strange.

Same thing - windy noise on answering machine. Obviously a telemarketer.  Thank goodness for this website to help identify these "Unknown" numbers that keep trying to disguise themselves.

The number has been calling daily and usually no one talks but there is the strange windy sound in the background that leaves a message on the answering machine.

I called back the number, and got a pre recorded message that this was the "Wisconsin Veterans Assistance" organization. The message said that they tried calling earlier looking for a financial contibution to help veterans.

Has called the last couple of days, lets the phone ring 3 times and hangs up before the answering machine kicks in

I've been called by this number many times, day and night, I haven't usually answered it but when I did there was hysterical laughing at the other end. Whoever this is, I'd like to be OFF their call list!

Have been rec. calls from this # for long time. I never ans. & they never leave a message.  Today I had enuff:  Called 414-376-5147 back & got a long, recorded msg. they were "WI Vet. Assistance Foundation" At the end of the long mst. they gave several options. Last option was to call 1-800-754-7320, which I did. Got another recorded message said to get on their "No Call" list press 9, then 1. The recording after that said it may take a couple days, but I would not get any more calls from them. I hope that is the case!!

get this call all the time, i let answer machine take it. never leave message or anything, not dispaly on callwer id as to who it is. know it is out of milwaukee, west allis to be exact. i just ignore it.

Dime to a dollar it is AMVETS. They are flooding my phone with unknown caller etc etc. Told them not to call me again. As a 'so called' not for profit, they unfortunately have the right to call you, BUT, if you tell them not to call you again. Make sure you are tell them not to call  again and stress the legality of that, they can be fined up to $16,000. Now do it!

Caller hung up rapidly.

They just called me from this number 4143765147, yelled my first name, state "G$%-D&^*" answering machine and hung up....

Received call today 10/5/2011 and it sounded like people arguing.  Tried call back and number did not go through

I got a call from this number.  Never left a message.  Caller ID says local call back.  If I do not recognize the name or number I do not pick it up.  I just let it go to voice mail.  If it is important enough they will leave a message to call back.

I was told I won something and when I was asked if I had a girlfriend that's when I hang up. They told me I signed up for something at a store I went to but they couldn't tell me where. They said they were not a sales call.
