Spoofed call  from the scamster faking  IRS. The scamster is based in Pakistan.

comes up "Not Available" and female voice "Officer Julie Smith" pretends to be from the IRS saying to call back or have your attorney do so, "don't disregard this call, and take care."

Yes, we got a call from 415-234-9597 purportedly from IRS. Scammer. Said "don't disregard this call and take care"

This number called said she was Julie Smith from its asked me if I had a lawyer that I was in trouble with irs. I laughed said really now since when I'm a law biding military veteran and if I need to obtain a lawyer that she would be paying for it. She hung up right away. Total scam

I called the number back (bad me...lol) - this is a majic jack phone line. When I confronted and asked for her address she left off the zip then hung up on me once i asked for it. total scam

Be aware 4152349597 is a FAKE IRS representative.

My wife just got a call sounding much of what is described in earlier posts---someone with a heavy accent claiming to be from the IRS saying a sheriff is on his way to our house to arrest us for tax evasion.  Shook up my wife who did not sense it was a scam.  Not clear how the scam would unfold, as they did not evidently ask for personal information.

Call came in from a California number 415-234-9597. It sounded fake from the start since the IRS does not make phone calls.  She stated she was officer Smith calling from the IRS and not to put this call off since it was very important and they would come to my home and arrest my for tax fraud. I laughed and hung up. Please be careful ppl

Call me also Julie Smith - but the tip off was "take care"?  The IRS would NEVER say that.

Received a call from this number.  Says they are from IRS, important to callback.  Total scam, we don't owe the iIRS anything!  THe IRS only contacts someone by mail....they do not call.

Got the same message today on my cell phone. Fake IRS. Hopefully they will curl up and die a slow, painful death very soon. Hmmm... of course, I could say the same thing about the real IRS office. :)

I had a female voice message today 1/7/15. She said she calls from IRS and asked me to call the number 4152349597 otherwise they take actions on me.

I just received the same call.  Office Smith from the IRS - so polite.  Call back and take care.

I also received a call on 1/7/15. A female voice naming John Smith. It's crazy, I got scared lol

I got the same call. The IRS sends a letter for an audit.

I got this say call from 415-234-9597 saying the same thing. Scamer will try anything to get you to do as they says. But I didnt fall for it. Tax time bring out all sortes of scamers.

It scared my dad when he heard it and thought he may need to get atttory but thank god he didnt do it.
