They say they are from the IRS?

I keep getting a call from this number and they say they are the IRS and to call back. They say its urgent however, when I call the voice mail box is full. I feel like this is a scam.

I received a call/voice mail from this # this morning, saying they were Officer Julie Smith from the IRS. The message said to call the # back and not to ignore message. So when I called the # back I got some foreign guy that couldn't give me his name, asking for personal information. He asked me if I wanted him to read the charges that the IRS filed against me and I said NO, I want a copy of the paperwork sent to me, because he was obviously reading the things that he was saying to me off a script and when I called him out on it he got angry and said that the police would bring copies of the affidavits with them when they came to arrest me, and hung up.
****TOTAL SCAM***** PLEASE WARN YOUR FAMILY MEMEBERS ESSPECIALLY THE ELDERY!

Received call from 4152349645 claimed to be from IRS; threatened to take action for not paying taxes, & if I ignore this call.
This kind of scamm should be stopped

Message:  "Julie Smith from Internal Revenue Service.  I'm the hotline office is 415-234-9645. Repeat its 415-234-9645. Don't disregard this message and do return the call before we take any action. They can see you.  Goodbye and take care. ".  SCAM!!!

SCAM!  415-234-9645!  This is why I have Caller ID. . ."Officer Julie Smith from The Internal revenue Service" called me yesterday, Dec. 16, 2014 and left a voicemail message exactly like the ones reported here.  I worked for the Feds in another department.  First of all, The IRS identification will display as "US Government" in your Caller ID display.  Second, NO IRS employee is going to say "goodbye and take care" like she did on the message.  Third, as I receive my income from a disability pension I do not pay taxes so could not owe them to anyone. . .PLEASE REPORT THIS TO YOUR STATE'S ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE - Fraud Division.  Also, if your telephone company allows you to block incoming numbers, block this one.  The more people who report this scam to their State Attorney General's office, the better chance there is of shutting them down.  Oh yeah - The IRS notifies you ONLY BY CERTIFIED, SIGNATURE-REQUIRED US MAIL, not by telephone unless you have specified so.  

just received a call from 415 234 9645 saying I must return call. It was in form of a threat.

Return phone all to stop calling me, and I lost all my cell contacts

Of course this is a scam. You can find all the information you need on the IRS Inspector Generals webpage along with a link to report this number. I received a call from them from this number and this number; 415-742-7561 since I am off today I had nothing better to do than to harass them. I called their number over and over and over and either hung up or told them what I think of them. After 10 minutes they started calling me from other numbers 870-413-4474 and 870-612-4414 I told them thanks for the other numbers I can report them also and the calls all stopped. We can fight back. Take a few minutes and call them over and over it may not stop them but it sure rattles their cage to all of a sudden not be the predator. If just a handful of people calls them over and over for just a few minutes they will have no time or way of calling others and it feels good to take some action.
