Got several calls from this number.
A guy with heavy Indian accent stated that I have a Tax issue that needs to be taken care of immediately.
I searched the Google and found out this is a known CON artist.
When he called me again, I told him that his phone number is all over the internet as a IRS TAX CON.
He hung up the phone and when I called that number, it rung three times then stopped ringing.
I think he was afraid of getting caught.

Couldn't understand a word this person was saying (he left a message).  The absolute worst attempt at English I have ever heard.  I saw the number on caller id so did a quick search which brought me here.  My goddaughter, who is a CPA, said one of her clients in LA got a threatening phone call that they would come by and arrest him or he could pay $3,000 to clear his tax bill.  A complete scam as her client owed no money and the IRS never sends somebody to arrest you or collect money.  I think this part of the same ring which popped about two weeks ago.  

I received a call from this number. I called back to try to figure out what was going on but they kept hanging up on me. They said it was an IRS agent.

Received 2 phone calls from this number. A guy with heavy Indian accent that is so horrible. My husband and I was having a hard time understanding his message and needs to listen to it several times. Claimed his name is Jerry Roberts and that he is from tax litigation dept. and that a legal action will be taken due to discrepancy in our income tax. This matter is highy sensitive and need to respond right away. After a short pause, we heard somebody dictating to him as to what he needs to say. Claimed we also need an attorney present. The call was suspicious and we called our accountant who verified that the call was a scam.

got a call  from a man that says he was from the internal revenue service...I have his number and told him I would call the police...boy did he hang up

I got a call from this number telling me that IRS has opened an investigation against me and I should call back right away with details. Obvious enough. I did some research on internet and called back to tell him that his number is all over internet and I will cops. He immediately hung up on me.

I got phone call from this #, and thread me to call back immediately.... Thanks google search. I will block this#.

A guy with heavy Indian accent stated that I have a charged with Tax Fraud from numerous sources that needs to be taken care of immediately.  I need to pay $3620 now, or I will need to pay over $12k (interest and penalties) if I wait to be arrested.

I called the number back and the same voice identified himself as "Internal Revenue Service".  He read what he said was an affidavit, but I couldn't understand his accent and also said that law enforcement would come to my home tomorrow to arrest me.  I asked for the SSN he had on record to authenticate and he said he didn't have that information, but did have my address.

I found this website and found out that this is a con.

Scam they say they are from the IRS and they are investigating tax fraud.  They are not.Americans so their choice of words are not correct everytime.  Very rude but too stupid to be convincing.  Have fun and string them along, tell them you work for the FBI and they will hang up in your face.

Phone rings. Fellow says he's Michael Carter with the IRS and there was a miscalculation on my wife's income tax return. Left this number "4152518504."

First, the IRS doesn't call individuals, it uses mail service. Second, Michael had a strange accent, either Indian or Filipino.

Third, my wife hasn't done her income taxes yet!

Two calls from this number: we hung up the first one after the person with a heavy Indian accent said he was "from the IRS." On the second one, a minute later, the caller, again with a heavy Indian accent, said he was "from the iRS" and I said "The hell you are" and hung up on him. No call-back so far (an hour since the last). If there is a next time, I will record the call and forward it to the local FBI field office.

This is a scam! Do not give personal information.

Call came to a *work* cell phone number not associated with any tax return.  Cut heavily accented male voice off mid-spiel, telling him I knew the call was a scam and I was going to report the number to IRS and anyone else I could.  I also blocked the number on my cell phone.

James Anderson called me from this number this morning. He stated that I have a warrant issued on my name and the cops will be here tomorrow morning to pick me up. After asking him for a reason he said that I have unpaid taxes and being charged with tax fraud. Asked me to pay $6,173 now and he can close the case or if we go to court then it would be arounf $14,718 which will include all the court fees.

received a call today....muffed indian accent    said something about owing taxes.   first of all, the caller addressed me by my email address name, not my legal name (go figure)

Call today twice; first time no message a hang up on answering machine.
Second time left a message same as those reported;  could not understand the man; said I had inconsistencies
in my income tax and need to call asap to prevent litigation!  This is the second time in the last
three months the call has come thru.  I checked and knew it was a scam!  Please check before
giving out any personnel information.

Said it was IRS  and I had tax fraud and criminal charges ?
