This person ( Woman ) claims to be an agent from the IRS !!!!!!  LOL

This woman ha called 3 times --- Heathe Gray, claiming o e an IRA Oficer... This is a total SCAM.....Another Thief trying to steal your money ------- do NOT give them any of your information............

Julie smith  IRS SCAM

I received 2 messages on my home phone.  Called number next day...first thing he said to me after I asked to speak to Julie Smith was "What is the name of your lawyer"? Had a heavy accent, told him I couldn't understand what he was talking about.  Put another person on the phone who said they would levy my house and bank accounts as well as revoke my driver's license if I didn't pay up.  Told him I never received any notice in the mail.  He said they sent certified letter to me, I wasn't at thome to sign so it was left at the post office and eventually returned to them.  Then he told me to be quite and listen to him.  He then proceeded to read some IRS code........ I said I wanted to speak to a manager and they hung up.  I called back twice, both times they hung up. - TOTAL SCAM!!!

Voice Mail from 415-251-9813 claiming to be IRS - told me to call back immediately or face legal action.  My IRS center is in Andover, MA.  That was the first tip that this call is a scam.  I have not received any mailing from the IRS.  My taxes are completely up to date and paid in full so no worries here.  I wish there was a way to take legal action against them for this obvious intimidation scam.

This number called me too and left a message to call June Smith. Again, THIS IS A SCAM!  The iRS would not call you!!!

Got a call from 415-251-9813 today claiming to be from the IRS...total SCAM!  So grateful for this website because we are able to compare notes and determine what is legit and what is not.

I received the same phone call from 415-251-9813.  The first time I called they hung up on me.  Then I called back and it went to voice mail.  Told me it was Julie Smith.  When I called back, a man with a thick accent answered the phone.  I asked for Julie Smith.  He said she is my assistant.  Told me I owed $5,000 in back taxes.  They were going to seize my house and bank accounts.

Received message from this phone number claiming to be IRS agent Julie Smith.  Did not call them back as a result of this website.    So grateful for this website & postings!  

My husband received a call from this number, saying they were the IRS and that he owed $$$$ and if it wasn't paid, there would be a warrant for his arrest.  He panicked!  Luckily, I was able to convince him it was a scam!

Automated voicemail: stating they are from internal revenue. Too call back officer julie Smith. I call back and they know my name first & last. Then hang up on me. I keep calling back and they keep hanging up. Looked #up and says its a scam.

They only know your name because they have callerID.  If you called from a different phone they wouldn't and you could give them fake ID credentials and they wouldn't have a clue.

Total scam.

I just got this call too.  Although I do think they've called a few times and I've never answered.  Today they left an AUTOMATED message.  A live person would leave a message if it were the real IRS.  And the IRS has always communicated with us via mail first before anything and then given a phone number in the letter.  We've always paid our taxes on time so I knew immediately this was a scam.  Same person - Julie Smith - was the name given and they were asking for me or my retained attorney to call back.  I should call back and say I'm the attorney.  lol.   Total scam.  

I also was left a message from a Julie Smith, a supposed IRS officer.  It said, "Not to disregard this phone call."  I returned the call and spoke with a James Anderson who said I had a problem with the IRS.  I didn't believe it and said that I thought this was a hoax.  We seemed to be disconnected so I called back.  It took me a few tries to get an actual person. This person said that within 30 minutes police would come to my house and that my bank account etc. would be seized!!!  Called my local police who let me know others had received similar calls from this number.

Just got a call from this number, but thought I would check it online before I called back.  Thank you! to everyone who posted that this was a scam.

Yes, it is simply a scam! "Julie Smith" was the name they give.

I had a recorded message telling me to call a 215 area code  number and stating that I owed IRS  money and not to ignore this message or further legal actions would quickly happen. It is a scam for sure!! Don't get upset by this call.
