This caller called for the first time today.

says he need to 2 to me are my lawyer and need all this money ask if i got a letter last week when i say no he says its to last and they will be here monday to put me in jail

Who ever called my job from an left this number used the name Michael Carter!! I just decided to look him up before I even thought off calling him !!!!

applied for loan online he is harrassing me

i just got a call from a foreign guy that told me what my social security #  was and explained he was a paralegal for my attorney. What attorney.....i have no pending cases. What is going on. They explained about $$ that i need to pay. FOR WHAT ??

they called me 10 times yesterday asking for my atty name and number. said the sheriff office should have contacted me but i have not purchsed or asked for anything. they also called my job

I rec'd calls yesteday and today from this clown. Automated voice, poor English, poor grammar.

This is a group of people located in India but are operating out of California.  They attain your info when you go online to apply for a payday loan and when they call you, pretend as if they are from a lawers office and tell you that you need a lawer.  Its a scam to try to make you think that you owe them for loans that you did not pay in full. I have already contacted the BBB, the FBI (Micharl Miller), and the Federal Trade Commission and they know about the scam.  Next time they call you, let them know that you have reported them and that you looked them up on Peoplesmart.com, Spokeo.com, and the Yellow Pages as well as the 411 information in California and you have printed out their location and forwarded it to the authorties.  The calls should stop. DO NOT SEND THEM ANY MONEY. ITS A SCAM.

I just received a call at work from someone who left their name as Hollis Jackson.  Gave this phone number and told me it was of utmost importants that I call right away.  He said if he did not hear from me or my lawyer all he could say to me was "good luck".  Did not identify a company or what the matter was referring to.

Got two calls from these fools! When I called back Atty Michelle Brown said that I was a criminal. When I asked her if she was an attorney she said no, but when I called she answered the phone as such.

I told her I knew this was a scam and she was very quiet as if she was hanging on every word I said, because in previous posts I have read that these people don't let you talk and will try to manipulate you. I told her  to delete my number and she said that she would.

I am so tired of these 5th party companies trying to get money out of people, especially if you don't owe it. I took a loan out with cashadvanceusa.com in 2004  that has since been paid in full! This just goes to show you that these internet companies sell your info and/or that the internet is not safe when it comes entering personal information.

Advice: Don't let them bully you! They can say whatever they want to say! It is a scam!!!!!! IT IS A SCAM!

been dealing with this the past 2 days they keep calling and harrasing me. i contacted the police department last night. contacting credit bureaus today along with my bank and credit cards

just got off the phone with police department. they said these people are a scam and to not listen to anything they say just ignore them. threaten them and they will stop calling

I started receiving phone calls from this number as well saying there have been 3 allegations against for why I am going to court. Said that I owed money to Cash Advance USA which I have never taken out a payday loan with this company or even heard of them. So I laugh and tell the indian guy he can take me court because he wont be getting any money from me because I dont owe anything. I guess he gets frustrated and then hangs up on me. Im reporting this to the police. And thanks for letting me know that this is a scam people.

Wow. I got the exact same call with the exact same message.  He said that if he didn't hear from me or my attorney that all he could do was wish me "good luck" as this "unfolds" on me.
