they say they are from the states attorney general office and say they have lawsuit  it is a scam

There calling me saying they have a case agaist my name & information. But cant state what or why.

they are calling and threatening to have me arrested at my job because of payday loans that i dont owe them. i am paying on all my payday loans. i asked to talk to an attorney there, since i work for a law firm and they put me on hold, refused to talk to me. i dont owe them any money. i talked to one of my attorneys and he said anyone being harrassed by them should file a police report.

This is a scam - they said they were going to have me arrested as well - the man on the line (Steve Williams) actually admitted it was a scam after I harassed him consistently by calling him back time and time again.  The thing to do is to call the FTC and report it.  That's what I did.  (877) 382-4357 and get a reference number.  They busted the man that originally started this scam but it's still rolling!  They have made $5.2 million dollars off of us consumer's that did not know any better and gave them a credit card number.  Call and report it so they cannot make any more money!

Some Eric Wilson called saying I had a past payday loan that was never paid and I never had one they said I could settle out of court right now for 676.00 I said no take me to court because I can prove I never had one they got mad a hung up.

Thanks for the phone number for FTC I Caled and reported this number also.  What a scam. IF we all call and report this it may help or block their number.  National do not call ist wont work because it is not telemaketing but rather a company that says it is a deb collector > We need a list of block the phone number for these idiots also.  SO call FTC people...

They call my job and left a message about some kind of Law Suit not stating why or who and told me i better call them back it was someone who could hardly speak English

They called me at work and I don't have any pay day loans and they were threating me as well with a law suit.  They can take that and stick it where the sun don't shine.

I  just  got   one of those  calls  also,   called  the FTC  to report  it  and they are fully aware of this scam. I was told  to just Ignore it.  i had  inquired  about a  payday  loan  but never agreed to one.  thats when the harrassment  started   this  was  my second  call    the  othere one  was from   646 929 3145

I got a call today from a # 415-484-6151. Saying there was a debt from a payday loan. Which I had received a call last week from a 901 area code.saying the same thing. they said its for a america cash advance which I have never had.. So I looked up the co-america cash advance and called them.. The rep who answered said she gets 10 calls a day from people who get the same call, its a scam.. she referred me to the ftc(which I did). and yet they still continue to call.
