Received cal that is voice activated with automated scam message with fear tactic of increased criminal activity needing home protection by putting a "solar sign in yard." May be part of the debt collectors network tactics of AFNI, Midland Credit Management, CBE Group, Stoneleigh Recovery, Client Services Inc.

Received a call from 415-620-4276 on 9/22/2014 approximately 9:15am Pacific time. When I picked up the phone and said HELLO, there was no answer on the phone. Hung up after about several 'Hello'. Get these kind of call frequently from different numbers. Someone who issues these numbers should be able to track it and/or know who the caller is. Make them stop.

I called number back.  Went to voicemail message.
"Thank You for calling back. If you would like to be placed on our DO NOT CALL list, please press one".
I PRESSED 1!!
"Please allow up to 72 hours to be added to our DO NOT CALL LIST".

Call came in from 1-415-620-4276 with the name Customer Support.  I didn't recognize the number and haven't called anywhere needing "customer support".  Besides it was well after regular service hours so was quite suspicious when I saw the caller i.d. readout.  When the answering machine picked up, no message was left.  No way am I calling that number back or picking up if it comes in again.

I got this call on 9/29/14 at 6:19pm. Said there had been some robberies in my area and if wanted they would come out and set me up. and I would need to put their sign in my yard. told me to press1 to speak to someone or press2 to get on do not call list. I pressed 1 and got a live person. I asked them what they knew about the robberies in my neighborhood. They hung up on me. They had even said on the automatic end that BG&E would come out and inspect for me. BG&E is my electrical company. I have no idea what they would inspect.

On 10/09/2014, we received our first call from GE Security. That time, they called from 818-420-4022. It stated that crime has increased in our area, and because of this, they would like to put a sign in our yard that would advertise their product. The call allows customers to opt out of phone calls, which we did, but we received another phone call on 11/7/2014 from 415-620-4276. Moreover, we are already on the DNC list; therefore, they should have never called us in the first place. Therefore, we have filed complaints with the FCC, FTC, and the Attorney General of Kansas because the company is violating telemarketing laws. I suggest you file reports of your own with the FCC and the FTC: http://www.fcc.gov/guides/unwanted-telephone-marketing-calls; https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx. You'll need to file with your own state attorney general.

You should not have given your phone number to them.  Now they know it is a working number and they will continue to call you, plus sell your phone number to others!

A recording spam call from GE Securities about increased vandalism...I hung up. I am on the Do Not Call list-not sure how they got my phone number. Irks me because you can't advise them to take you off of their list when you get a recording.

Keep getting calls from this number.  Getting really angry with these scammers!!

Never press one or do anyting to request taking the number of the call list.  What you have done is verified that your number is real thus you receive more spam calls.  The Do not Call registry is a joke.
