no call but i found it on craigs list as contact number for a rental listing

i actually ended up calling this number myself. it was a contact number for a craigslist rental listing in Chico, CA. Too bad, the fake house sounded nice.

they are scammers - advertize non-existing houses for half the normal rent...

They are scam. I google the numer... The post on Craigslist in San Francisco, Washington, New York... Only scam apartments for rent!!!! Beware of the number 415-742-4411

This company is definitely a scam.  Their $ 1.00 trial is more when you cancel within the trial period.  Either $ 5.00 to cancel over the phone or you pay for a month of service waiting for a cancellation letter arrive at their Santa Cruz PO Box.  Don't get caught up with this company.

They were flooding craigslist with fake rental listings.

Every time someone signs up for their scam, they get paid a commission. See picture below.
I registered for their affiliate program just to see what kind of hocus pocus they were running, and sure enough, they get paid $5 for every First House Financial/Newline Equity con registration, and $10 for every Profinity credit report check.

If you are stupid enough to give them your social security number, they even run your credit check just so they can earn the $10.
