This is convergent/convergence, a debt collector that works for LVNV funding trying to get confirmation on name/number/address and last 4 of SS. They buy old debt (much that has already been settled or is no longer availible) and try to collect on it.

Debt collectors calling my work number, which is a federal government number and I am to be using it only for government business

I received a call from this number.  They were requesting information on a name I know too well.  I told the he didn't live here any more.   This women had an accent some eastern as she rolled her r's.  I thought it was Russian and I spoke to her in that language but she didn't understand.  Last month it was British.  I believe they are calling from outside the country but are using the 415 area code to call within the US.  The next time I'll ask what time it is and if it isn't Pacific Standard, I'll know a story.

I call the number again and I learned they are not calling on Pacific Standard time but from another  time zone but are using the 415 area code as a cover.

received a call from this number this evening.....the recording of my name was pronounced wrong i pushed 1 but they had me on hold for a while.  hung up cause it seemed really fishy.......

Three calls over 2 weeks. Every time I pick up its dead silence. I'm blocking them now.
