could not understand computer voice, message was not left due to call answered by occupant. Calling party (automated) referred to collections of non-paid bill payment. However, we are 99.8% sure all bills are current.

Please call back and clarify nature of call to an area code 916 number, at 12:45 pm, Sunday, December 22nd.

Update: number is Verison Wireless in San Francisco. Possible re: land line phone billing, which is paid to ATT, not Verison. Likely that the number goes back to Veison since the # originated with them before being converted to landline.

The same the IRS needs to talk to me.  Called back and tried to tell me I had Unpaid taxes and Income I did not claim and bla bla bla.

Same number has called me with the same message. Julie Smith claiming to be from the IRS. I called real IRS. Ted is right. This is a scam. IRS doesn't call, they send letters.
