Obviously a scam.  A man with a thick Indian? accent left a voice message on 9/19/14 saying:  This is Roger Davis with the Department of legal affairs and I was trying to reach you in regards to a very important issue. This is a level modification for you in regards to the enforcement actions that have been started on your name. My number is 4159357074.  If for any reason you're busy to call back. I would suggest you to have your reading attorney to do it for you and do not delay because this will become a very serious matter for you.  Again, this is Roger Davis from the Department of legal affairs with the US Treasury.

I have received two calls grin this number today, same story as above comment.

Got a call from this # too. Called back and he read some disclosure and said I have to talk to the treasury or I'll get arrested. After I said I couldn't the call got disconnected.

My wife got the same message today. Once the Indian guy (supposedly a "supervisor") realized I wasn't going to give him a payment over the phone (yeah, right!), he hung up on me.

I got the exact same message from Roger Davis.  he sure gets around

Just got a call from this number, said his name was Roger Davis with the Dept of Legal affairs and an enforement action has been started on my name and if I did not call I should retain an attorney before legal action starts. then said thank you, again my name is Gordon Miller (so went from Roger Davis to Gordon Miller).  What a scammer

Just called me.  Indian accent from "the  Treasury."  I said, "you've got to be kidding me."  He said, "what?"  I said, "you need to take me off your sucker list."  He said, "you need to be professional when talking on the phone."  So I said, "you need to kiss my a&$, you called me" and I hung up.  I hate these people.  I can't imagine how bad this would be if I were not on the do not call list.

I got the same message for the same phone number this morning.  He identified himself as Jordan Miller, left the same message as posted above by KL.  Luckily I google it and saw this website.  I am afraid this is some kind of scam to collect personal information.  I will not call back.

I just received this same message on my phone.  I refused him because I looked at these posts a knew it was a scam.

Got the same call this morning so I decided to screw with him a bit. I kept calling his phone for about 20 minutes straight to tie up the line and eventually he picked up the phone and started singing the word [***]. So I kept doing it. He then just picked up and sat on the other end silent, so I did the same. Did that for about 2 minutes then he hung up and I kept calling. He kept ignoring. Eventually he picked up and started singing something in Indian and I said "are you going to call me again?" And he said "no I will not call you and you will not call me" he said that about 3 times and I said "deal" and hung up haha these [***] need a good swift butt kicking.

I just received a call from a person who said he was working for the United States Treasury Dept.  He basically said I owned money for taxes for unpaid taxes.  I asked him if I could speak with someone that spoke better English, because I could not understand the slime ball, because he spoke in a heavy INDIAN ACCENT.  I could here people in the in the back round trying rip people off (call center).  The caller hung up on me I wonder why.

People, thank you for posting your experiences here.  I screened the call and let it go to voicemail.  He identified himself as "Jordan Miller" with the Legal Affairs Department at the US Department of Treasury.  Thick Indian accent.  Same phone number: 415-935-7074.  None of it made sense.  I searched the number and found your posts.  Obviously, a scam.  Go Team!

I just got the same call here in SF. So glad to see this site! What a jerk!

Yep, I got the same call today from Jordan Miller (Indian accent) from the U.S. Dept of Treasury.  They were looking for my son, who hasn't lived at home for 10 years.  I told him he didn't live here and don't call me back!  HE CALLED BACK!  I said again "He doesn't live here and take me off your list!!"  Unreal.

My son got calls 3 times a same day from the same number, caller said he is Jordan Miller and calling from US Treasury. He said it's about legal emergency and call back immediately.

Received a voicemail message today the same as everyone has stated. The message scared me as he said if I don't call back, legal action will have to be taken.  I was going to call, but had a thought to first search for the phone number online. Thank goodness I did that! As reading all the posts here as well as other sites,  all said the same thing.  Beware!

Just got a call from this number. Probably same guy with Indian accent saying the same s..t as everyone reports, but said I needed to call back and ask for Derek Smith who would tell me what's going on.... Funny but the call back number he provided was the same as he called from.

I just received the same message! Only he is now Mark Anderson. Glad I looked up the number to see its a definite scam.

I got someone with an Indian accent also named Mark Anderson. He told me that I was going to be arrested tomorrow and that they were issuing a warrant. My three violations were failure to file my taxes on time or not pay them at all and malicious something. I asked him for the federal code numbers for my violations, and he refused to give them to me.  He said I would know tomorrow.  I think I am going to follow jcox's lead and start calling him incessantly.
