i got 8 calls yesterday and 2 already this morning no one on the line when i picked up but message came through that said his name was john anderson and i need to have my attorney or myself call back and if i didnt good luck with the legal consequences of this matter . not once telling me once what this matter was about. when i did call back it rang 3 or 4 times and then i heard a beep

I got the same call from john anderson telling he needed to speak to my attorney or if not they were going to come arrest me.  They told me I owed some loan but couldnt tell me when I took out the loan.  If I wanted to not be arrested to go to cvs or walgreens and get a prepaid card of his choice so I can make the payment over the phone because of my history he said that they could not accept a debit card.  You know that was because they did not want the bank to trace them part of the scam.  They really had me going thank god I didnt make the payment.  I just let them keep calling and didnt pick up and then I just changed my number.  Dont enter any important information online in sites that are not secure and make sure they dont sell your information.

These people keeping calling and messing with me telling me ima get arested if i dont go to cvs or walgreens

They keep calling saying i need to send my payment to cvs or walgreens they have my last digits of security number

I have been harassed at work and started calling my cell number and had to change it.nhad my dob and last 4 of SSN. Notified police in that area, local police and BBB. How do they get this personal information?  Wish they could catch this jerk.

Just got a call from these jerks when i picked no one was there so i called back when an foreign accent guy picked up i asked what kind of business they were and of course he hung up, called back again and got a beep then dead air...could it ba a scam????? DUH!!!! Do no not give them any info,
do not get a ptepaid card, its against the law to threaten you with arrest or a court case!!!! They know if they threaten arrest it will frighten people and then they het your money close up shop and move onto someone else. If they were legitimate debt collectors they have to say who they are and what debt, company they are collecting for. Turn this number into the fcc everytime they call and keep a log. They can't do anything to you!!!!!

John Anderson telling me that I or my attorney needs to call him about a legal matter and if I don't then good luck.

Update:  Still getting the calls, but I contacted the CA State Attorney's Office to report it.

I suggest anyone who gets a similar call do the same--as the 415 area code is San Fran, they are the ones being misrepresented, and the ones best in a position to do something about it.

The number called me twice today. I called it back and the man claimed he was calling from the district attorney's office. I called him a liar and told him he better not call my number again. He called me an [***] lol and i hung up. They have the wrong chick!

I got a call on my cell and work phone from 415-937-8430 from a John Watson that also said either I or my attorney need to contact them. When I called back and asked to speak with him the person that answered said that John is the paralegal and he was the attorney so I let him know that if they were both from a law office then they knew that its illegal to call someones job. He then cursed at me said F*** you then B***** and then hung up the phone. I called back and the person kept hanging up the phone. After about 5 back to back calls they answered with some more swear words and I let him know that I'm recording this call he continued to curse and said there was nothing I could do.
I have know idea who these people are or what they are calling about.

This guy is calling and doing pretty much the same thing.  He went as far as to harass me and threaten to come bust my door down.  That made it a criminal matter in my book.  Police have been notified, and I suggest that you call your PD before this jerk starts threatening you as well.

BTW, he has been calling for weeks now.  Sometimes at 3am, which just sucks.

They cursed at me too. luckily I only have a cell phone so I have blocked their number so that it will go straight to voicemail. However I have turned the tables on them. I have called them so many times today that either they hang up the phone or they answer and say some derogetory then hang up. I told them since they want to harrass me I'm going to harrass them. :-). They just don't know how crazy I can be. I saw on the news a few months ago where some people believed they were really gonna call the cops on them so they sent them money. Ha Ha not me!!!

These people have called me six times today. Someone named John Williams told me to give him attorney's name and all information. When I asked him what this was all about he gave me the same number he was calling from and ask to speak to Kevin Peterson. Called the number back several times, sometimes it rang and had me on hold for up to 3 min or I would get a beep then air. He claimed he was calling from S.F District Attorney's office. I called san francisco and they have no people by those names and no phone numbers that matched the numbers I gave them. Get any name that you can and call the police and file a report you may already be a victim of identity theft. So check your SS# and have them flagged and make the report so you have proof of possible identity theft,

I have been receiving calls all day from this number and everytime I answer , the person just hang up on me.  So i decided to call the number back and a person answered by the name John Watson, explaining I am being sued as part of a fraudulent scam with one of those online payday company, however I never accepted any offers and I unscribed name from all emails that were coming from these companies.  The concern I have is the information I gave out when I originally apllied online, will I now be a victim of identity theft.  If anyone have anymore information please let me know.  Thanks

John called for husband 3 weeks from 1-818-925-6536. He called twice, then nothing. Then today he called from 1-415-937-8430, something about a short sell # of husband. My has disabled for past 3 yrs. Until he passed last week. He wanted to know where was. I told him none of bussiness,then I hung up & he's been every couple of hours until 5:30 pm.

I Just return to work on Thursday, February 28,2013.  Was out sick from work due to illness.
But upon my return to work there was two voice mails, from a Sarah Woods.  one on Wednesday February 27, 2013 @ 7:27 am., and on Saturday February 23, 2013 @ 9:16 am.  M's Woods stated that I or my attorney need to call her back.  She did not say why.  I do not know who she is or why she is calling me.., But I hope she or any of the people she work with never call me again.
