he called my wife asking for my ssn, i am a deployed soldier so now my unit is trying to handle it I've called the number a few times and always an answer. the current number that he is answering is 415 952 5630. i plan on bugging him until the real authorities come for me witch they won't or i can no longer reach him.

I am disabled and got calls from Mike saying we will sue you for not paying your loan

I had the pleasure of speaking with an "Attorney" James DeMello who says that i applied for multiple loans from a Cash Advanced USA that were never repaid. I never received any loans and i told him that. He could barely speak English. He said that i had until the end of today to make a payment of $685, but that he could not except a credit card or that it could not be withdrawn from my checking account that i had to wire him the money through western union. He said that if i didn't pay that a Sheriff would come to my job and arrest me and that it would be more expensive for me to do it that way. I told him that i couldn't make the payment. He says that he could only hold on to my file until Thursday and after that he has to forward it over to the sheriff's department and that i would have to go to court and then pay a full amount of $4,696....I can say at first it did freak me out and then i come on line and put in the phone number and all the other stories come up.....

James DeMello called me today at my work.  They told me that someone had filed a lawsuit against me and that there was nothing they could do for me.  That my "payment" option is gone.  That they were going to file the legal documents and that the police officers were going to pick me up today from work and I would need $2000 to bail myself out tomorrow.  Then they said if I could come up with $1250.69 today that we could resolve this issue out of court and it would save me $2000 for bail and the $8000 I owed. He kept telling me that it was loans from Cash One the "parent" company of 354 loan companies.  Which I never had a loan from any Cash One company.  He said he would instruct me on how to get him the money but I couldn't use my debit card or bank account number.  He mentioned my USAA account number and mentioned the company I work for.  I left work and was trying to find an attorney when my co-worker informed me that the whole thing was a scam and read scenario's exactly like mine with the same names too.  I would love the opportunity to meet James and Mike... I also hope they get exactly what they deserve!!!!!!!

Got a call from the same murderer-of-the-english language guy a few hrs ago, telling me he represented cashadvanceUSA.com and something about a parent company of 375 lending companies and that I was having multiple charges filed against me. He said he couldn't divulge any information about his client or the charges being filed against me, only that it was "time sensitive" and I had a warrant out for my arrest.  I asked him then why did you bother calling me? Also asked that if it was such a pressing legal matter, then why did he wait until the night before to contact me? Why was nothing mailed to me certified? He said he couldn't comment, or something like that, I don't know, my kitchen table speaks better English than this guy did. He goes on to say that my repayment window had closed, however I could make a payment in the amount of $1100 to resolve the issue and save myself the time and hassle as well as the $6500 in court costs.  Then he goes on to tell me that if I didn't, I'd be arrested at work tomorrow.  I asked him repayment window for what? He said he couldn't comment on it as he said before, his tone getting angrier. I asked why the hell would I make a payment for something you won't tell me anything about, after telling me some window for repayment had closed? I was quickly put on hold, he came back on screaming at me and wouldn't let me get a word in, saying that I was wasting his time and that I'd be arrested in the morning at work. He then hung up on me. I went home and did some research on this number, which brought me here.  After reading all these comments, it really got me thinking, you know some poor schmuck out there fell for this at some point and lost God knows how much money. Really bothers me that there are scumbags out there that do things like this to people on a daily basis. Unreal!!! Hope this as well as everyone else's comments will give people out there some kind of heads up if they ever get a call from this guy.  Hope he gets crushed by a train or a truck.

The same moron just called me back!!  Drove him insane by pestering him with questions about him, told him how my day was, what I got for Xmas last year, didn't let him get a word in for like 10 minutes.  Was friggin' priceless, he was going crazy trying to get a word on.  He started yelling again, so I asked him if he wanted a hug, maybe a back rub. He screamed again that I was gonna get arrested before he hung up.

I just receive a phone call from this number, told me I owe money from Cash payday loan they have my work information and bank information, but they won't give me any info about the money I owe so guys be careful with this Indian accent [***] goodluck!!

I got a call from 415-952-5630 and he had all my personal information. He said i had some cash loan that i never paid back. He said he would be sending the proper paperwork to my job. His name was Michael Carter. Everyone that is reading this do not give them any personal information over the phone or mail these people anything. They are fraud and are trying to get your money.

Called the missed number 4159525630 and they said they are w a legal affairs dept. I asked them to remove me from their calling service, they said no they will call day and night. Then went on to call me a [***]? And other names. Totally inappropriate. Would not tell me what the nature of the call was. They call all day.

just got a call at work from this number threatening an attorney. I asked for their employee ID and what aree of the government they were from. they hung up.

The same thing happened to me..it scared me a lil bit cuz they called my job..How do u make them stop? its annoying!

Yeah he says his name is Mike hall but he speaks in indian you cant understand him at all and he says he works with an ivestigative fraud dept and that I have recently taken a loan out from some online loan dept in which I didnt and then trys to get your ssn as well as confirm your email. Its a joke. there has to be a way to report them also they asked me who my attorney is that will represent me unless I want to settle this now.

I kept receiving a call from that same number from an indian man dentifying himself as a John Stevens? First he kept calling my cell and kept calling my job. He told me this is a serious matter and their is a lawsuit agaisnt me for $350 loan from cash advanced which i never took out. He said the cops are gonna come to my job and arrest me by 2morrow morning and my bail was set at $1500. I told him i didnt know what he was talking about and hung up on him. I spoke to my boss about it and he told me it was probally a scam. He was right...after doing my research..i found out these people have a lawsuit agaisnt them for stealing money. I feel bad for the actually people who fall for this...Please be careful. After my research..I kept calling that 415 number back and no one picked up..finally after 20 times..a lady picked up and didnt know what i was talking about. Then today 10/24/12..John Stevens calls my cell from a blocked number..I told him I found out he was a scam and what he is doing is illegal and I reported him to the FBI and FTC..he hung up right away..those [***]

I too just got off the phone with someone who said that he could not give me any information over the phone, but a lawyer had some paperwork and I was being sued (by my name & SS#) and needed to call Michael Carter @ 415-952-5630 (which is the same number that he was calling from....dummy!!!) He said that if I did not call this number right away, I would be arrested.

recieved a message from david green notifying me he had a warrant for my arrest for unpaid payday loans and wanted my attorneys name and phone number was 415-952-5630 . he barly spoke english

i had someone call me yesterday from this number...i have had this happen before and yes i got scared and a little stupid at the moment wired them 200.00 i wasnt falling for it this time i got the law from where i reside to call for me from different numbers they told him if the calls didn't stop they were contacting his district where he resides and have him arrested, the phone calls finally stopped. when i listened to the voicemail i just laughed i wanted to call back and just tell him f~ off.. he said he name was john johnston last time it was attorney alex watson

I received a call from work demanding the same thing & saying I had not repaid a payday loan from Cash Advance USA, etc. I told him that any loan I ever took of this type was PAID! When I asked for information, he said he need my attorney's phone number. I told him I needed more info.  He said wait until tomorrow.  What? I spoke to my manager, who is an attorney and he called.  The guy, James DeMello, wouldn't give him any info and finally hung up on my manager.  Someone needs to stop this from happening!

Received a called said they are taking me to court for not repaying a loan when I've never applied for a loan I am a young lady that works hard and don't need a loan. They hung up on me twice and would not answer my calls five times. i got very upset and called my bank to see if any of this was true and no loans was posted to my account so Google their number and found this page and knew it was fraud.
