    It's a scam, plain and simple. They'll say they're from a certain cell phone company (Bell, Rogers, etc) and offer a free phone. After getting mad when they wouldn't take me off their calling list (they hung up on me immediately after my request) I called the name they used, Bell Mobility. Turns out it's a scam artist group that are trying to phish personal details from people by promising free phones as part of a new 'promotion'. Don't give out any info over the phone!
