"Amy" the pre-recorded voice calls to offer a "free" cruise. Call is illegal, I'm on the do-not-call list and it's commercial. Call display says "Out of area" meaning the number may be spoofed. People need a ring-through device + code only friends know, so robots can't make it ring. The whole telespam biz would be gone in a year.

I received a phone call from this number and I gave him my address and email.
I am worrying about that.
Does anyone tell me what I can do now.

Weird, I got a call from this number and it turned out to be family from overseas, someone we actually knew.

I got a prank call of an angry lady yelling at me for "calling her family at 230am" and "shes calling the police to trace my number"

it sounded like precorded sound bytes with the real callers listening in and laughing in the back ground

They called me saying they're calling from teen pregnancy. Was with my mother so I hung up. Not sure what it was.

Why on earth would you do that?? There's diddly you can do now but sit back and wait for the million other telemarketers start calling then on top your email gets flooded with spam. It just irritates me to know end when there is warning after warning after warning...DO NOT GIVE YOUR PERSONAL INFO TO NO ONE!  That's how all the trouble starts....now they'll get your friends emails also etc, If you can't educate yourself on these matters? STAY OF THE INTERNET. You put other people at risk!

Called yesterday wanting to discuss my insurance needs:  car, home, auto.  Wanted to set up an appointment for someone to come and chat within the next two hours.  I told them I was on the do not call list and hung up.
However, I did talk long enough to get the following info:
"Ashley" from Insurance Advice or Debt.  Report it to the CRTC.

got a call saying she was from "comfort" services and wanted to book a furnace inspection in the next two days - that was enough to know it was fake (they book months in advance), not to mention that "Comfort?" isn't my provider. Maybe if they had been willing to come in a half hour window instead of the six hour window I get from the legit furnace folks, they would have had me... ;-)

Got a call from this number for the second time now wanting to set up an "free" furnace maintenance cleaning. My first tip off was both times the name of this so called company was conviently hard to hear/understand. Second was its "free" third tip off was they were willing to book this for next week. Uhh no just hung up

Just got a call from this number requesting appointment for a free furnace maintenance. I agreed to meet them tomorrow. But right after that I checked with PowerStream (my provider). They said that it has nothing to do with them and that most likely it was a fraud. When I tried to call back 416-203-6859 I received auto reply "your call did not go through...". Now I am worried.

Noticed this number on my phone far too many times. Finally I pick up & they hang up. Unbelievable u harass me & then u hang up on me. If u have a real family u will no how that feels to be harassed so I suggest u go get a real job & learn to have  compassion for people.

Same free furnace service boloney as described above. Wanted to book an appointment. Not my furnace company. Just did my service. As always I just told them I don't have a furnace, or ducts, or computer or whatever.

I just block their number with app... I dont even know they called me- phone doesnt even ring, straight to voice mail and my mail box is full...hahahahahahahahaha scammers!
