Some Indian guy telling me Cool Breeze Duct Cleaning is in my area.  Clueless about the DNCL.

I want to know who the caller is and why does she call me?

the person called me for the second time in 2 days, using a different number each time. Claimed to be in the area. I doubt it, since I was currently in Labrador .... call forwarding. Told him he should quit since he could be fined $2500 for making an illegal call.

Nothing scares the gentleman, because his language skills are not up to par to undertand.. Suggest get a loud whistle and blow it when they call again. Could get in trouble for it .... but maybe not

Yep, same here... I am on the do not call list, they show no recognition or respect for this.
Telemarketers, when will they give us more effective legal / punitive steps to take against them for invading our privacy?

Called with no answer then hangup apparently a Mobile phone in North York, ON.

Same thing - called and I answered - then they disconnected.  I called back and got a "Voice Mailbox" is full.

Called me in Ottawa offering duct cleaning from Cool Breeze. I asked if he used the Do Not Call list. He answered no. When asked why not and told he could be fined by CRTC, he hung up.  

I will be complaining to CRTC about this.  They are currently investigating an Ottawa aluminum siding company that I complained about.

Got a call from this number today no one said anything but I could hear breathing it freaked me out. I called the number back just a mans voice with a full mail box. i am going to report them.

These guys have been calling my house everyday for weeks now.  I complain every time now as advised, but they are still calling, I am so frustrated!  If anyone knows another more effective way to complain & have this stopped I'd love to hear.

I've been receiving calls from 416-277-1688 for the past few days multiple times a day and no one says anything.  Same thing when I call back I also get the voicemail is full message.  Bell Canada says I have to pay monthly to get the "call block" feature.  Now how is that fair.  Going to the dollar store to get a whistle today. Thanks for the awesome idea.  If anything we can make the guy deaf:)

Received a call on three separate occasions, last time I said if I receive one more call I will report this to the Fraud Department of my local police department, hardly had words out and the caller slalmmed the phone down, will see if he calls again

Got the same call 3 times a day 3 days in a row.  The thing that bothers me is we live in canada how come these idiots don't speak our language.  It's amazing.  Sad thing is if we went to their country we would be hung or stoned for what they are doing.  Lets all go to Canada home of the free.  What a joke. I am so sick of these calls.

I've been called twice in five days by this company. I'm on the DNCL and I reported both calls. I hope they get fined soon. They don't care about the telemarketing laws and their agents are very rude.

Got a call from this number, no response when I said hello, called back and got voice mail.

Yup, yup, yup!!! To all of the above... frustrated as all heck when I told them a month ago to stop calling. The man apologized the first time when I said I was on the DNCL. They apparently have a short memory.

One lady reported on another site that when asked if she was the owner of the residence, and she replied 'no,' the person called her a liar and then hung up. I also reported the number. Rude, inconsiderate and not abiding by the law... gets you fines that you deserve.

I have received a number of calls from this number in the past few days and they hang up on me. When I call back I get a voice mail with a man in a very very deep voice saying don't leave a message . Mailbox is full ?
I am also on the National Do Not Call List which is in effect until 2015 ! I have researched this number and company and can not find any information on it or the number? Is it a real business or fraud by someone trying to get into your home ! Think about it !

I have had several calls from this number.  One time my husband answered and the man did say hello, but wouldn't say anything more.  How do I stop calls from this number?
