Someone called me at 6:30 this morning from this number...Man, they have no sense at all...Didn't answer the phone and they didn't leave me a voice mail either

told that he is frm australia n want to talk to u.

check your phone records....the holder of this same cell phone is also using this number to take out fraudulent calling cards and call around the world.  $2K in fraudulent calls last month on my phone bill from calling card calls that originate from this number.

We're in the US and it appeared in the caller ID when a customer called us from Canada, probably on a cell phone.   Therefore, this appears to be a generic caller ID display rather than being specific to one particular phone/number.

got to knw ... the guy said tht he is using yahoo! for calling... and some sort of calling card.... they are local guys only.. but bugging a lot and giving lots threats ..

I think this is a VOIP tunnel used by Rogers for LD calls from Canada to the USA.

I just used my cell phone to call a 1.866 number that I assume is in the USA that wanted to verify my phone number. Their system read back my number as 416.318.0000, which is obviously not my number.

This is annoying. Now I can't use the service :(

Within the last 24 hours I posted that (416) 318-0000 was an internal Voip Line for IQor Canada.  In actuallity further reseasrch by myself (Sjip Tracer Extrodinare) has been able to confirm that (416) 318-0000 is an internal voip line for a collection agency known as Total Credit Recovery Corp. @ 225 Yorkland Avenue Toronto ON M2J 4Y7

In the Province of Ontario Collections Agencies and there Collectors have to be licensed and have to Identify themselves - Should you receive any additional calls from this number then might I suggest you contact Susan Reiner with the Ministry of Consumer Services Debt Recovery Branch (416) 326-8800 and lodge your complaint accordingly.
