Atm suspended..needed acount info..BANK SCAM!!!

RECEIVED A CALL FROM 416-369-1499 THEY SAY THEY HAVE SUSPENDED MY ATM CARD AND THEY WANT MY BANK INFORMATIONM.

Same - my "Point Bank" ATM card was suspended...good thing I don't have a Point Bank account...

Received a call from this number at 11:12 PDT on April 7, 2010.

I didn't answer...

Got a call, didn't answer.

Received multiple calls from this number as well. They never leave a voice mail and I never answer when they call. I looked up the phone # and it belongs to a "Fairwater Capital" out of Toronto Canada.  Funny that Point Bank is mentioned in this string, there is a branch in my home town.

My husband received a call from this number and then hours later I received a call, but from a different number. Each time we called the numbers they were to businesses such as an I.T. firm and then another was from Clearwater Capital. We have turned this into the proper people, but I'm hopeful folks won't enter their numbers when asked because it really won't matter if you bank with the bank they are saying they are with or not, they can still create a credit card or bank card with your information.

Got a call on cell phone stating that ATM card had been deactivated due to fraudulent activity and to press 1 to reactivate.  Upon pressing 1 it asks for your ATM card no.  Knew this was a hoax because my bank doesn't have my cell phone number and, if anythng, would be calling me on  my home phone

I received a call from this number on 4-11-10, but I didn't answer.

I just called american national ank to report it.The customer service represenative said they were aware of these calls.

I received a call about 7:15 a.m. saying that my atm card had been deactivated and to activate it press one then  the phone hung up. Would never give out any information. I will report this to my banking institution.

I husband received a call on his cell from this number 416 369 1499 about 7:30am.  He did not answer.

Received a call from this number @ 1:09 AM! Didn't answer.

Got a call from this number at 4:11 am. on my cell phone. Did not answer the call because I never heard the cell phone ring.

This number called me at 2:30 in the morning... I answered thinking it was probably an emergency since it was so late but it was the same message is previous notes... "Your bank card has been suspended due to fraudulent activity"
DO NOT PUT IN YOUR BANKING INFORMATION!!!!!

Got a call from this number at 1:25 AM - woke me up, but did not answer since I did not recognize the call.  Googled and found various references in Toronto. No Message,  Total Scam.

Got call from this number at 5:39am - are you kidding me?!?!??!  Did not answer, no message.

Received a call from this number at 1:40 AM on 4/18, of course I was sleeping and no one left a msg.

Received a call from this number. No message left. Glad I didn't answer. Apparently a scam #.

I received a call at 2:18 AM CT on 4/16/10.  Luckily I didn't answer thinking it was a wrong number. tja
