At 3:35PM on July 05, 2010, I received a call from 416-640-0651. I picked up the call and said hello but the caller hang up immediately without saying anything. I do not know what the caller was trying to do.

i had 5calls from them to night  5.30  i ask them not to call me

This number continues to call me every few days but they NEVER leave a message - I refuse to answer it!

Could be Scotia ..  i answered - he asked for someone at my home - he has a scotia credit card.  he didnt say who he was.   this is normally due to credit issues.   a credit collections cannot tell anyone the business except for the person liable.

Happened to me too.  I called the number back and the company voice mail is for Optima communications (on behalf of Scotia).  My guess is they are a marketing/sales company.  No voice mail = no answer.

I think they are scammers ... If Scotia wants to suggest services, they can usually email you about it. Since the number is said to Optima Communications, it is clear that is not Scotia at all...

I got a call from this number today a 2 p.m. I work an overnight job, and daytime calls like this always wake me during a deep sleep. I answered the phone, heard the person on the other end heave a big sigh, then hang up.

Received a call from this number today, and when I picked up the other end of the line was dead. I wouldn't be surprised if the number belongs to Scotiabank. They're calling here constantly trying to sell insurance, upgrades or get my kids hooked up to credit cards.

this ffucking scotiabank is so annoying, they deal with so many vendors an insurance scammers. I am sick of it.
