once again a few minutes ago
does anyone have any smart ideas on how to "counter"? maybe flooding that number with calls and beeps, or something like that?

I have been got many phone calls when i answer no one responds. We have done some research with a few friends. We have come up with a conclusion. It probably is Rogers them selves making us waist our minutes. I talk allot on the phone and so do the other friends that get the phone calls. So they think we will not notice this on our phone bills. My friends that don't use their phone much they don't get the call only one of them has received it. With Rogers even if you speak for 1 second they charge one minute so think about how many minutes are lost every day.

the first time i pick up some guy from roger mention something about my new iphone and wanted me to do a survey, i then said i m busy and they said they call again and after that, no one speaks everytime i pick up...

Just became a Rogers Wireless customer a couple of weeks ago and I'm being harassed by this number. It calls both my cell and house phone at least twice a day. Very frustrating.

It showed up as a missed call and im really confused

I don't pick up from strange numbers, if it's important they will leave a message. Not knowing how to fight back, I added this call on my phonebook as "end call" or "Don't pick up". So, keep it coming baby, my middle finger needs some exercise.

Yup - I get the call on my Rogers cell phone. Only started a few days ago.

It is Roger's calling. Those idiots call every month regarding your bill. I pay my bill every 15th of the month. My bill (packaged with phone,internet & cable) comes to about 150.00 every month and I ALWAYS pay on the 15th. I noticed my bill (because of movie rentals) was a bit higher then normal but I made a payment of 180.00 when the bill was 197.00 (difference of 17.00 FREAKING dollars and Rogers had their Accounts Receivable department call and harass me to pay the 17.00 dollars as it was pastdue and I could be cut off. What a bunch of FREAKS!!!!! I promptly told the RUDE man on the phone to go ahead a cut me off and I will immediately go directly to the media with ALL (every) single bill I have paid on time and not to mention because I work from home and need the internet, I will sue their a**es if I lose even a single hour of my work day due to their pettiness.
I did not wait to hear his response and I promptly hung up.
If Bell wasn't my only other choice I'd tell Rogers to get stuffed!!

i keep getting the same call too just recently which is weird cuz i have been a rogers customer for 3 years and have never had this happen

This is Rogers. I got a call, and they did leave a message, I'm disconnecting my phone, probably the accts. payable dept.

Received two calls from this number in the last two days.  They don't leave a message and I haven't tried to call back because I don't want to pay the long distance charge.  This is getting annoying.  I am also with Rogers.

Got 3 calls in 2 days, should be no reason to call me. (my bill is up-to-date paid.)

I have telus and they just called me today, why would a rogers company be calling a telus phone?

I got the call from this number today and again when I picked up no one was there.  I also received an unknown call before this one that did not leave a message. I tried to 411 the number and I would not recognize it. Which brought me to google it and now I'm so glad for this site it answered my question

I too have been plagued by calls from this number. When someone finally spoke to me it was Rogers wanting to "Save me money".

How can I stop them doing this as it's not the first time.

I am currently with Rogers wireless, starting in about 2 weeks ago, i got 3 calls a day from this number. When i tried to pick up the call, nobody answer.
