Called Rogers Communication, They said the number is NOT out of their office. But they sell numbers to other companies. I traced the call to Central California. Someone is phishing!!

They kept calling me I am very angry at them i think is Roger!!!!!
If we pick it up you'll spend your money and cellpohne times!!!
Once I answer it they didnt answer it!!
For one or two min. then they answer!
Last time I told them the Roger that I dont want any more
advertisment but they still call!!!

I got the same call.. I've been getting calls from this number for a while now. I also have a Rogers phone. I'm guessing from the majority of the comments on this page, it is Rogers.

Frequent daytime and evening calls.  Nothing when I pick up and no messages.  Extremely annoying

i got a call from this number today. a lady with a weird accent said am I speaking to "jhsgkcn jjgkgn" my name.. and she had my name correct.
i was like yes its me. then she hung up

i just got billed $10 long distance for this number but no one has ever answered it. They called my house several times

Try calling Rogers and ask them to block that number! Talk about turning the tables around...

ya, this number has called my line too.... nothing like being bothered with your cell phone wringing for no good reason by the carrier you use when your either working or out enjoying your life with a loved one.  Interupted my supper with my GF at Eastside Mario's and we both work hard and like to max our little time together we get - yet stay connected incase.... this call annoyed me.  I like Roigers, but it appears they don't respect their customer's lives as they disrupt me constantly.  Also called from 866-899-8313 twice last week... my acct is not overdue.... pricks!

Today I got this call on cell phone. A girl told me I need to pay Rogers bill, because it's already expired, (including long distance phone :), actually i am not using Rogers phone). She asked me for credit card number, which I think this is her purpose.

So it appears to be Rogers but are phishing for credit card numbers. Hmmmm. Just like so many other numbers that show up on my call display but with no company name to display. Why do people do it? Call random numbers and try to get info for fraud or scams. Is it because people are giving them something. It works sometimes, so why not keep trying? Who is it that is not educated, these days, to not give out any information to people who call you at home? Who are the suckers who keep this "business" going? Pick up the phone, ask them the name of their company and tell them not to call again!! I do it with everybody, I don't care if they are legit. If they really are legit then that is no way to contact a person at home, without showing your company name in the call display. Legit businesses be damned, you swim with sharks!

Is it really possible to charge a service fee?  Ted would definitely find a way to screw your plan and make things bad for you.  For the most part, agents at Rogers are terrible and dealing with them is a literal hell as it is.

Seriously, I think I'm switching to another service.  Ted is ridiculous!

and leaving disturbing messeges
but today the voice said "I jacking off thinking about you @#^%&%)
how the hell did he get her name and why the f*** is rogers employing these criminals. if its not an employee then rogers should keep their customer info a little more secured. Rogers Watch your back!!!

Its Rogers calling regarding a past due account.

my number is private and only my friends and family have my contact.  i've had this number for about 11years now and i've never received any calls from a 1-800 number and definately not callers like this.  it's getting annoying.  i not only get this number calling me i've got other numbers from all over the states calling me.  when i answer the call, nothing happens, no voice on the other end.  i also have telemarketers calling me as well...it makes me wonder if rogers is selling our numbers to telemarketers.  once telemarketers get a hold of your number they in turn can sell it someone else.

This is a Rogers customer support number - they're probably calling you regarding something.
