Has anyone else received a call from a person from Cool Breathe?  He states that it will cost $110.00 to clean your air ducts and someone will come and take a look at your furnace and inspect your air conditioning as well?  Cash only though.  I tried to look for this company to no avail and return the phone call and the number doesn't work.  Please let me know if you have any information.  I don't want someone showing up at my door!

Got similar call today. He said it's half price now for air ducts cleaning. Left this 416-8000798 number. I called but that number doesn't work. It's hard to trust whoever may show up...

Do not let any of these people know your address or when they can come to "clean your air ducts".  These people are not legit.  They come in and pretend to clean your air ducts with these fake instruments and tools only to see what you have inside your house, who's there during the day, etc, and the best way to get in.  Once they got all of this information they sell it to a "3rd party", and if they think it's worth it, they wil break into your house.  Please DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE COME TO YOUR HOUSE!

Got the call from Andy Marshal. he asked to charge $130.00 cash only. gave time after one week. called two days before again to confirm that rep would come between 3-5 pm sunday.
no one showed up until 6:30 pm. when i called the number they game me it says the phone is not in service. I got a call at 6: 35pm that they are behind schedule and would like to come. I told the person that do not worry about us any more. as i am suspicious about the company. they might do their job but why would a companys has a phone which will not be in service.........

I just recieved a phone call from a company called Air Duct Cleaning Services offering to clean the air ducts in the home for 150.00 cash.  When I asked if there was a number to call in Ottawa the person gave me 613-800-0798.  These people have called here before under different phone numbers and refused to give me a call back number.  After some research on the internet I was able to find three websites www.daductcleaners.com; www.freshairductcleaning.org and  www.coolbreezehomeservices.com.  The websites have identical information just different company names.  When I called the number posted on the first website I was talking to someone in Geneva Switzerland.  Also the legal jargen at the bottom of the page looks like it has been copied and pasted from Direct Engergy's home services webpage.  I contacted Direct Engergy to see if they contract out to them because we are being harrassed by these phone calls.  They reassured me that they do not contract out to the companies listed above and would look into the legal jargen information.  I am trying to figure out the best place to report these businesses.  Any ideas? It is fishey when they expect cash only and when you ask for a local phone number they hang up.

Got a call from Andy Marshal today and he said they would do complete air duct cleaning.  The cost would be $135.00 cash and they would clean all hot air and cold air ducts.  They would also use an herbal sanitizer.  He said the name of the company is "Air Duct Cleaning Service".  The phone number to reach them at is 416-800-0798.  I called and it said that the number was not in service.  I can't verify the company nor the phone number.  They also gave me a reference number BX7650.  So if and when they get here it will not be a go.

This company is not real...it's a fraud! I called them and no one was able to give me accurate information. It kept changing.

We just got a call from these guys too "Air Duct Cleaning", quoting us a $160 flat rate to clean our ducts.  My husband, being wise to these types of guys, asked for a number to call back at before giving out any personal information, and so we could look them up on the internet/better business bureau, etc... (and left the number 416-800-0798) which is when we came across this page!  Our suspicions were correct!  Don't use these guys!!!

We were called regarding a special plan for our area in the next few weeks.  This is the number that was given to me when I asked for a call back number.  When I called to check it out,I got through on the second try.  A man sounded a bit surprised but said that this is the number for Air duct Cleaning Services.  I asked for an address and was given 3231 Eglinton Ave East. Toronto.
This is a residential apartment area according to Google map.

These guys have been calling me 3-times a week for over a year now. Everytime I told them that 1) I am on the National Do-Not-Call Registry. And 2) I have Electric Baseboard heaters... so no ducts. Finally in August I got fed up, and everytime they call I book an appointment. I have since had four such appointments, and two no-shows. where a "technician" came to my house, asked me where my furnace was, and I showed him the baseboard heaters. They always leave after five minutes, and then return with a cell-phone in hand asking me to talk to their manager in Toronto (I'm in Ottawa). Each time it was the same: We'll remove you from our calling list. I still get the calls, and I still intend to book the appointments. If they want to bother me, I will waste their time and money. Each time they have called, they supplied me with different contact information for their company. Here are all the phone numbers they have provided me:
613-552-0660 - Apparently the number for a Law Firm, not a Duct Cleaner
416-410-5680 - A private number of an irate man who claims to have no knowledge of Duct Cleaners
647-852-DUCT (3828) - A temporarily disconnected number (this number was even on the "technician's" hat and work shirt.)
647-785-1900 - Number is perpetually busy "person can't take your call right now..."
416-800-0799 - Number does not accept calls from unregistered numbers
416-800-0798 - Spoke to "Peter Parker..." who assured me that my number would be removed from their call list. Well, if Spiderman can't get my number removed, who can?

This company has been calling me 3 times a week for over 3 months they always leave a bogus call back number but i got lucky and finally one day they gave me a number that worked.....4168000798...and i asked to speak to a manager....I told him to NOT call me anymore and add me on their do not call list.....we will see what happens....by the way every time they call I asked them not to call again and that I am not interested....they call at all times of the day and up to 930pm at night...they use fake names and numbers.....I would not use them

This company has been calling me 3 times a week for over 3 months too. From the call display, the number shows 905-342-1223. When I called the number, the answer is "the number is not in service". Today (Nov. 26, 2011) they called me twice. For the first time, I asked for their phone number and address, however, they stopped the call after hearing my request. For the second time, I expressed to know more about their services by asking some questions like "how do you clean dust?", "whare are you located?" etc. They told me they are located in Toronto, the caller's name is Howard, their phone numer is 4168000798...I told him to NOT call me anymore and add me on their do not call list as always when they called, but no effect. How can we stop this phone call and take cautions to avoid them? From my point view, this is not only NOT use their service but also some things behind it.

Update: I received calls from three more numbers in the past two weeks, and I booked an appointment for December 04. The numbers who were cold calling me were:

The three guys who came to do the cleaning were NOT happy to find out I had electric baseboard heating. I asked them to get in touch with the call center and have my name removed from the list, or I was just going to keep booking appointments.

I got a call from the same company and the caller gave an address 3231 Eglinton avenue, mississauga.  It is in the middle of a sub division.  I am on the do not call list.  I have the whole conversation recorded.  How do I file a complaint against the company who is calling.  I think we should ask them to come for inspection and waste their time as well

got him PO cause i called them scammers but he was hostle before that cause i SEEMED to be wasting his time, OH!!! :P They get your # "from the directory" which includes ppl on the DNC list, complain everytime one of these idiots calls you :).. if you can keep em on the line and get there #  then tell then ask how they got your # and that you are on the DNC list!.. if they hang up on you sure sign of a scammer real telemarketers cant hang up on the customers.
PS also had sh*$y phone lines everything i said echoed back to me, was really distracting...

I've been receiving calls from people claiming to do duct cleaning a whole number of times in the last few months.

I've hung up each time after telling them that my number is on the no-call list.

To no avail, received another call today. This time I played along. First voice was a woman's; was then put on hold, the woman returned and suddenly a voice mail jumped in with an offer to duct clean for only $600, which morphed incorrectly into a special of $150

They provided a website www.ductcleaners.ca. The site doesn't exist. When asked something was mumbled about being on Rogers or Bell.

Asked for a phone number. They provided 416 800 0798.

The male identified himself as Paul Davis. Gave his address as 2321 Eglington Ave in Toronto after some prodding.

He confirmed my address and was trying to obtain more personal information and set up an appointment.  When I kept asking about the website he finally gave up and hung up.

I've contacted the Ottawa Police who referred me to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre, where I've now been in hold for 12 minutes!

I've been getting calls from these butt heads for months. I've told them the number is registered with the national DNCL and to remove me from their list, but they continue to call. Now when they call I always give them the run around. Today they gave me this number 416-800-0798. The phone number is for Bay Street Capital Management Corperation (BCMC). They have nothing to do with duct cleaning. The address 3231 Eglington Ave  E Toronto is a highrise resintal building. Today I also called him a liar and fraud he hung up. They called again an hour later. I repeated myself and he hung up again. I'm so fedup with these idiots. I've tried to report them to the DNCL the problem is you need their correct information. The phone numbers and addresses they give are false. But I'm so pissed off with them I'm going to keep searching till I get some lagitimate info to file complaints against them with.

I receive a few calls a week from this company and have for over a year even though my number is on the do not call list and I've asked not to be called again.  They called from 416-877-0009 but gave me the following corporate details:
