Got a call from 416-861-9381 which turns out it is a women from Ghana using her number 233-246-536780 Caller name is Akoto

Got a call from this number, saying it was my gas company and it was time to clean the furnace (as part of my prepaid plan). Said they were in my neighbourhood (North York, ON) even named my street and they could do it the following day (i.e. today). waited during my allot time slot and they didn't show, so I called my gas company and they said they didn't call me, I'm not in their schedule and they don't know who called!  worrying because whoever DID call now knows from our scheduling discussion that my house will be empty 2 days this week ...  Would really like to know if this number has called anyone else like this ... didnt have Caller ID on the phone I answered, but the other phone (as I found out later) says Anonymous as the caller ID

Received a phone call October 26, 2009 from this number.  The company mentioned they were from calling Canadian Merchant Group, a merchant financing company.  They also mentioned they were located in Montreal, Quebec and they have been in business for more than a year, but there website and phone number are contrary to that claim.  My advice is be weary with this one.

Got a call from this number 416-861-9381 claiming to be Bell Canada regarding our satellite service.  This is a scam artist.

got repeated calls from 416 861-9381 claiming they are merchant services canada, and that they needed my last months invoice in order to offer me a lower interst rate on my merchant services. i told them i didn't have that info and was not interested in their offer. they called back constantly throughout the whole day, asking for the same info! they are not Merchant Services Canada POS and it is a scam!!

Got a call from 416-861-9381 and someone was doing a survey asking my daughter all sorts of questions that she naively answered

someone i know is getting those calls, 1-2 a day and they're private. the number showed up once, so thats how we found out who it was.. we're looking into it but as anyone tried calling the police?

this person calls everyday and doesn't say anything

They said they got my number from a bus. And they knew my name and school.

Got repeated calls NON-STOP for almost 15 minutes (as shown in our call display) from this number 416-861-9381 and 416-751-4382, both with the name "MOTGAGE", and once with the name "011949967391653"

Called non stop on Saturday at 3:02, 3:03, 3:05, 3:07, 3:08, 3:09, etc. until 3:14
Finally answered when they called at 5-something and asked for someone who doesn't even live here.

Got a call from this number moments ago; the man on the other end, who had what sounded like an Indian accent, said he was calling from Bell. He had trouble understanding what I was saying, and went into a mumbled, half-coherent pitch about I've been selected to win a camera phone. At this point I really thought it was someone from Bell calling me, since their reps usually call from India, but after checking this site, I'm pretty sure they were trying to scam me somehow. The caller ID, incidentally, said "asterisk."

had 3 missed calls from this number just now! i was away from my cell, and they called at 7:34, 7:38, then 8:34!  After the last call (just 10 minutes ago) i tried to call them back to see who it was.... it just goes to a busy line everytime.  Their name doesn't show up on my i.d. but the number shows up everytime...  I thought i would punch the number in online to see if it came up as a business or rogers or something (i'm with rogers, not bell) and i found this website!! sheeesh, thx gooness! if they call back i'll reply to this site again!

Have received several calls from this number over the past 6 months, offering duct cleaning, even though I live in an apartment. When you ask for the name of the company, the caller hangs up. If you try to call back, you get a busy signal. Something illegal is going on here.

They just called my wife baggering her to speak to me. When her repeated requests to identify what the call was about went unanswered. they decided they weren't going to get anywhere and proceeded to call my wife a [***] and hung up!  I'd really like to find out where/who this is.... Judging by some of the remarks above it sounds like it may be a VoIP call from elsewhere, which would make it harder to track back, but WTF!!!! kinda ticks me off!

these ppl wont stop calling my grandparents house at midnight and one in the morning and also during the day! they dont say anything they just keep calling until someone answers then they hang up! they've been doing this for over a year now and my poor grandparents et so scared because they think its some kind of emergency! it says "Faiza" when they call and i alwyas get a busy signal when i call back.  wtf! i dont no what to do......

Pretending to be from Health Dept. trying to get our staffs' cell no. After I asked back, he said his name was Channont (sound like Indian name!!! Nice try!) and he gave me his phone number , other phone numbers...(but it was fake, I know!)...

Luckily, i'm so pretty and smart :) gotcha that stupid indian mother F******.

A guy with an Indian accent just called me from this number and said he was from solo mobile which I think is bell. I didn't give him time to speak, just told him i was not interested. this name came up on the phone, "v06181933330011" I don't know what this means

Repeated calls from416-900-2928,vo6222&866-675-7438347460011

I've been getting these same harrassing phone calls. First it started with "win a mobile phone fr rogers" and I told them I don't use cell phones...the guy persisted with his bad indian accent and I told him no again, my husband than took the phone and told him to take us off his mailing list. Since then, there have been all these unknown callers, bell Canada 1-866 numbers, and finally the 416-861-9381 number. Its really annoying, because they call like 10 times in an hour. When I looked the number up through yellow pages it came up as a Quebec number.

Is there anything we can do about this? I'd love to stop the person whos doing this.
