Called me on my cell while I was at work. Tempted to take the call and duck out of the meeting I was going to, but decided against it. I figured that anything was better than listening to telemarketing bs.

Called and hung up

They called me today, said they were from our gas company, affirming a plan they said we had signed up for.  I told them to take a hike.

I got a call telling is Scotiabank. She knew my First name,my address and my husband first name. Asked if I am interested in some live coverage and insurance. Late I noticed it was a scam.

Called today to my cell but didn't leave a message. I guess is Scotiabank but I don't have any products with them.

Got a call from them the other day.  I just called back and the message is that they are "Optima(?)Communications" and they apologise if they bothered us with their call.  Anyhow, their web address is:http://www.optima.net/

didn't catch the name of caller, but calling on behalf of scotiabank want to sell other banking products.

These a**h**** called here as well. I'm sick of telemarketers.

This number called me three times today! I called back and it was constantly busy.  All I know is that they better stop calling.

This number called my cell phone. No message was left on my machine and when I called it back it said it was a communications network in Toronto... annoying. Do they not realize people pay by the minute on cell phones?

I answered but know body will talk. so i hang up. it has happened for a long time.

was american express.  guy would not give up after saying no.

i also received a call from this number on sept 26, 2008 - i answered and they did not say a thing.

"The bank of N/S does NOT get outside companys to do questionairs for them, they would do them on there own."
that's actually 100% pretty much all banks DO hire outside companies to do customer satisfaction surveys for them - up until recently I worked for a telephone survey company and we did surveys for TD and Scotiabank all the time.  It'd be retarded to think that a BANK would put together a whole call-centre just to do telephone surveys about how good your banking experience was when there are tons of reputable companies that you can outsource to.  
That being said this # seems to be a general telesales/service company that must do outsource work for various other companies because they've called me for various reasons/elsewhere on the net they seem to have called people for everything from surveys to telemarketting.

it is scotiabank and they do seem to phone right at dinnertime for me, even though I have told them i am not interested in any other services and i will contact my branch manager should i want anything

When I called back an answering machine said they called for a communications company and I could leave a message if I want to. I did not.

scotiabank the caller said. but the bank shouldnt call u for info n stuff.
i told em to call me from the province im in, then she said ok and hung up, never getting a call back.  dont trust this number!
