I got calls from this number too every night.

my ph number is unlisted, yet had calls from this number three nights in a row now - no msg left either time.

Many calls at dinner time, I don't want an out of town newspaper.

This company, Com-Tel Marketing Inc., called me between 3 and 5 times every day; they would never leave a message.  I discovered that they specialize in selling newspaper subscriptions.  Since I recently canceled my Globe and Mail subscription, I assume they are trying to get me to return.
I sent them a blunt email, telling them to stop; they stopped.

These yo-yo's call at least 2 times every day. usually at supper time. No message and no caller ID except the number.
next I'm going to answer and ask for their number so i can call them back.
What happened to being on the list where they can't call you anymore?????

I submitted a complaint to the do not call registry, as it turns out they are exempt because they are selling a newspaper subcription.  How this is any better than trying to sell me carpet cleaning I'm not sure.

Here is what I did. I called that # and from there I got another # - 1-888-682-0070. I called there and there was an option to take your phone out of their list. (you press 1, put your phone # and you are out!)

416-916-4863 called me with an automated message several times. It says press 1 for blah blah etc. Well I always press the button to set an appointment so I can talk to someone. The weird thing is, the last few times it's been a little girl, sounds like she's 7 years old or something. Scary that these dirt bags have kids working for them. I ask for the name of the company and they say "Carpet Cleaners". I figure they are trying to get personal info for credit card fraud and identity theft.

They call with a Globe and Mail subscription offer. They say you get a free trip for subscribing, you only have to pay for the hotel (at a hugely inflated price which more than covers the "free" air fare).

They are trying to dupe us, and they have already duped the Globe and Mail because the Globe hired them to sell subscriptions (but the callers sell hotel bookings at the same time ...on the Globe's dime).

I am working there...Toronto downtown...lol

Number on phone message. Didn't call it - looked it up on reverse numbers and Thank You!! for letting me know not to waste money calling it back!

Yes, they have called 3 times. Never leave a message. Thanks for the heads up. I won't call back.
