Callers name was "Mike" of a placement agency - Want to place their people in our organization.  He insisted he was a previous supplier; he was not, as I have been here many years, but turns out he was referencing our company as a whole, not just our office. The caller would not listen on being advised that our office had no need for their services and we were not interested in a meeting / call unless we had a requirement.  He continued on, insisting very strongly that I accommodate his request.  Very insistent caller.

Francis called me from this number and took all my paid experience details and said that he want to discuss a job role with me and cut off the phone. I got miss calls from this phone earlier too. But if you call this number back no one answer. So seems like some sort of prank

called by a woman with a british accent. Told me about a job with BMO and said she would email me information on the job and never did.

Seems like a scam. I tried calling the number back but no one picks up. It just rings.

This is the outbound calling number for the Toronto offices of Randstad Canada (one of the world's largest job placement agencies).  If you have your resume on Monster, Workopolis, or applied to a company that uses Randstad as a recruiter (the Bog 6 Canadian banks for example) then there is the possibility that a recruiter from Randstad has contacted you about a position they see as a fit.

Yes, received a call from this number, Randstad. Unsolicited call, asked to be removed from their database, I was asked why!? I said that I was at work, not interested, not looking for another position, they would keep insisting.

Got a few calls from this number over the past few weeks, I never answer and they never leave a message.  The call display each time says a name "Simran Dhaliwal".  Could be related to cold calling from a job placement company like noted above, my resume has been in everyone of those companies.  Strange how they never leave a message though.  I don't trust it even it's legitimate, perhaps someone has now acquired this number and is trying to do underhanded things knowing it used to be tied to a legitimate organization.
