There is a scam going on with Telus numbers in Canada. Some scum bags are spoofing Telus numbers and then calling other numbers in the same e change.  I called one of these back and the old guy who answered was surprised and then said he had got similar calls from other numbers. If you have telus in Toronto and you get a call from a number in your own exchange I wouldn't answer unless you know that number.  I called Telus and they're aware of this.
