Got a call on my cell phone at evening. I did not answer, there is no message left. I recently sent a letter to Chase canceling a credit card. do I need to answer the phone to get my card canceled?

Searched this number online.......Chase telemarketers!  Call the number back and press #2 when prompted to get on the DO NOT CALL LIST.  Follow the prompts from there and they will give you a confirmation number and the calls should stop within 30 days.  I don't know why they are calling me in the first place since my number is already on the National Do Not Call List.

After getting a series of no-message caller IDs from 417 225-4000, I sent an email to Chase asking them either to leave a message on my machine, to send me an email, or to stop calling if they did not have important information about my credit card. They denied having made the call. Today I sent another email, this time detailing everything I knew about their telemarketing operation in MO, and they sent back a same-day email that they had put my number on their do-not-call list.

Got the same number on my phone- this time they were asking me about my chase credit card and was "hunting" for personal details- be careful

Just got a call from this number. No message left, and this is my cell, so I'm not impressed. I do not have a Chase card.

Hello;   I get calls from this number EVERY day. It has been quite annoying. My wife answers the phone, and she tells them to call back at 1pm. They don't call at 1pm, but continue to call anyway after she told them not to. The caller says to call the number on the back of the credit card and I did and chase said that 417 number wasn't theirs. Please help me to get rid of these predators. "Hack" in GA.

I got two calls from them in a four hour time period. I did exactly what Chris suggested. We shall see how it goes.

I'm on the Do Not Call List already and still get calls from this number. Every day! Nobody on the line and they don't leave a message when we don't answer.

Got a call from 417-225-4000 today (10/05/2011) at about 11:30 am (CHASE USA was the caller ID). Went online an got a number (1-800-432-3117) for Chase from their website and called them. They said there was no record of that number and it was not theirs. They also had no record of any calls to me on any account they had for me. They said next time pick up the call and see what they wanted but not give out any info about myself or my accounts. Then they might could do something but this number is not theirs. So I say this is some type of fruad.

It is not fraud; This is a number from Springfield, MO that Chase uses in their Outbound Loyalty Services Department. It is the job of this department to contact customers and ensure that their card is meeting their needs and discuss any benefits/rewards related to this card. They will NOT ask for personal information, and they ARE legitimate employees of Chase.

My accounts are closed with them do to their insistence in raising interest rates to ridiculous levels for no reason (accounts are still in good standing). Don't think there would be a need to call me 'loyal' as I told them to close the account.

Call from JP Morgan Chase bank. They called to enquire why I closed their Chase credit card and how they could reinstate it. It was pretty much a sales call.

if this company does not stop calling after you've advise them not to call or you can just file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and the FCC here are the links, pass the word to your family and friends.
