Call is another number that Card Services uses. Time to block this one too. They supposedly get paid for every pick up including answering machines. Block these calls, they are  a scam.

Got call about credit card lower interest rate touch one did the phone goes dead no answer.

yup.  same thing here........i just answer and push 1  so i can give the caller a piece of my mind....

I have stated a petition to attempt to get the government to do thier job and catch these guys.  we need 100,000 sigs on it in 30 days in order for them to even read it.  the do not call does not work the FTC does nothing nor is the FCC worth reporting it to. and we need 150 sigs to have it even show on the web site.  I hav just started it.  lets do these crooks in!

This firm calls every couple of days with the same recorded message and I've asked to be removed. Did the same thing today - -stayed on the line and asked to be reoved - -woman hung up on me.

Doug, you now have a grand total of 13 signatures on your petition.  I sure hope that everyone that sees your post sighs up!  Nothing else does any good...maybe this will at least get someones attention....

When I answered the phone, they said push 1 if I wanted to save on my prescription costs

I did and when the human asked that question, I asked what the address was so that I can send the Do-not-call list police after him..... He started to give me 4036 then suddenly we were disconnected.

I never answer, but they call at least once a month and never leave a message.

Hung up, no message...can't leave a message?  ...then it's not important.    Fools!

Another credit card services call. Scam / fraudster

Same as others reported....They want you to lower credit card rates.

They called both my home land line and cell phone at exactly the same time. Didn't answer either one!

I am on the National Telemarketing Do Not Call list for telemarketing company's and scan . Will you please stop calling me.

I get these calls all the time.... weekly if not more.  Scammers do not abide by the National Do Not Call Listings.  So there is nothing to stop them from calling.  One really has to be careful if you call back.  Some scammers (not this one: 417-800-2296) are from out of the country like Jamaca, Virgin Islands or other countries and they can cost you thousands of dollars just by letting them answer YOUR return call.  So be careful.  I check a number out on the computer first to see where they are located.

Scammers do not have to abide by the National Do Not Call Listings.  That is what the FTC told me.  Only legal telemarketers have to honor the Listings.

Apparently, these calls are from a call center.  The same number 417-800-2296 is being used for both Card Services and also a pitch for supposedly saving on prescription costs.  They're calling my cell phone and leaving messages -- a woman's voice with a British accent, asking if i want to save on prescriptions?!

The Do Not Call List is completely worthless.  What's the point in signing up for it?  I registered our house and cell phones as soon as it was set up, many years ago.  But I get more junk calls now than I ever did!
