To everyone here ... there is a solution for this problem if you have a Smartphone ...
in your market application or google play store download >> Call Blocker Gold. It's a FREE and a Paid App, however both features work just fine ... you can block this callers with a simple feature in the app.
From the main screen of the app select Call Log ... find the number ... check it ... at the bottom of the screen says ... Edit Selected ... where the number shows remove all numbers leaving the very 1st one and add #'s to fill the empty numbers, ie ...
417-800-2309 substitute for 4## ### ####
at the bottom of the screen Check Block SMS messages and select Hang Up Calls and press ok ...
that will block every single number coming from any 400 area code ... if you have no business with any person from those area codes (400's) it should not affect your you at all ... good luck

we had checked our switches and database. We do not have such number
registered with our services. Also when our customers register with our
services, we urged them to compile with the FCC rules and further not to
use our services for telemarketing    unless they are calling under a

Calls and leaves no message

These people call me daily, they don't give a damn about people telling them not to call. They are so rude if you get a live person, I have told them repeatedly DO NOT CALL.......THEY INSIST THAT THEY CAN. I THINK THAT THEY ARE SOMETIMES USING DISPOSABLE CELLS TO CALL. SO SICK OF THEM !!!!!!!!!

Usual call from the bums at "card services" who want to lower your interest rate but who hang up when you tell them they are breaking the law.

417-800-2309 -- "CARD SERVICES" -- a recording with a female voice that says to call IMMEDIATELY to lower your interest rate....limited time offer.

This company identifies itself in a false manner as my credit card company. I have indicated, as they suggest, that I wish to discontinue these calls but receive up to three calls a day. Even when I press to speak to their operator nothing happens.

"Card Holder Services" - I've received numerous calls from these people. The call starts with a recorded message about "lowering the interest rate on your credit cards". You are instructed to press 3 to have your number taken off the list. I tried it. Nothing happens. Next time they called I pressed 1 for "customer service" and told the guy to take my number off their call list. Did the same thing at least 2 more times. Still getting calls from them.

This last time (10-3-2012) I was actually THREATENED by "Tatiana" their "customer service person" who very nastily told me "You need to get laid". She said she already had my phone number and "could arrange something for you". So I asked her if she was running a pimp operation from the same place as her credit card scam. She replied, "I have all of your information right here in front of me. So you better watch your back."

Received several calls recently but did not respond. Today responded by hit 3 . Got live voice and was asked if I owed $3,000 of debt or more. When I requested information about them they hung up.

These people call all the time and I've put myself on their "do not call" list too many times to count.  If you talk to a person it doesn't matter if you're nice or rude they are rude back and hang up on you.  Can't understand how they get any business.  Really should be against the law to be constantly harrassing people.

Conservatives want less government for the same reason that criminals want less law enforcement. This particular scam caller is as sophisticated and devious as the right wingers. The scammers are very happy that we have so little control over our own personal phone lines.  When the number they called you from yesterday shows up as "unlisted or disconnected" their equipment just calls you from another number the next day. They already know that your number is a valid number, so selective calls rejection is now almost useless. Recording their calls in hopes of getting voice prints is our only hope of catching these scoundrels. I have an extremely long list of the numbers they have been calling from. As our technology advances maybe soon we will catch them. Be sure and report them to your phone providers "Blacklist", as it does save your fellow users some grief. If your phone service provider does not supply this option, then request it, or change services as I have. Since the majority of these calls are from one entity, our phones will be silent the next day after they are caught. What a great and peaceful day that will be!

Did not answer, but caller ID shows something very strange: V10231124270015. I get calls from this number, with this strange caller ID, several times a day. I never answer, they never leave a message.

This number is still active as "Card Services". Latest was robocall from "Rachel". Same message as in the past, ".....No problem with your card or account, but call immediately regarding your interest rate"
