Unknown caller. Did not leave message

It's the Greene County Jail. I had the same issue...someone calling and not leaving a message. Until finally they did - asking me to come bail them out.

That is NOT the number to the Greene County Jail.

Not Greene County Jail. Got call from same number and it was a detective. It is a Greene County number though.

Green Country CCW left a message for me when they called.

I got a call from this number at 2am.

I got a call around 2:30am from this number. It was some guy saying that he was in jail because of me. I asked him who he was looking for. He realized he had the wrong number. Sounded drunk as can be. Seems like any number originating from Greene County jail, police, governments, etc. will appear as this number.

This is the Greene County Sheriff's Office. My sis works there.

It is greene county.... if you call it back it says it's a number used for caller ID but the number and/or caller is not able to be traced back.

The number is legit.

It's the generic caller ID number for Greene County offices (Collector, Assessor, Jail, Sheriffs office, etc) . My call was from the Assessor's office.

My work also has a number that shows up for caller ID, that you cannot call back, and may be any of dozens and dozens of offices.

No message Just said call came from green county and it was untraceable weird

For me, it is a Doctor's office. They keep calling my phone and leaving messages for a doctor. I've had the same number for four years. Doc needs to update his info.

Greene County Sheriff's switchboard. They were calling me about a CCW permit but you have to listen sharp, the person talking goes about 150 mph.

They called me and said they are doing a background check on someone who said they worked for me...  thought I was from a farm.  Definitively wrong number.

Just got a call from that number 4178296673 they said hello I hung up

The number is associated with the child support prosecuting office. Everytime I get a call back from them it's this number.

Asked if this was a business I had. I told him it was closed. I asked if I could help him with something. He said he was trying to collect money from local businesses for police retirement or something.  The he asked if I had another business.... I rushed him off the phone,  I thought he was going to start asking my broke butt for money..... lol

rang a couple times, then hung up.

This number called me couple times no message. Went online and looked up Greene County and called THAT number instead and they said they don't recognize the number and no one with a badge was looking for me.... Scam?
